Myself and my son had visited this hotel which is 30 min away from iskon mayapur. Those who wants to attend mangalarti had to travel at 3. 45 am. There is no direct access for mayapur we have to take u turn from long distance. Suitable for marriage and other events not suitable for mayapur devotees. We have asked for extra blanket for which they denied saying they provide to those who had asked for extra bed. Denied to give coffee sachet. Beautiful surroundings with garden with amenities but not worth for devotees

Location is food. Food is very average. Amenities are good. Whole resort was having very less parsons. Having only 5-10 guests. I requested them to give 1st floor room to have very view but they denied on some pretext.

We recently stayed at Hotel Sonar Bangla, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was incredibly spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax. The pool was huge, perfect for a refreshing swim. The food served was delicious, offering a great variety of dishes. What truly stood out, though, was the staff — they were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay, and would highly recommend Hotel Sonar Bangla to anyone looking for a great hotel experience.

Our stay was good but something they have to improve services. Like in restaurant they are serving cold omelets luchi and bhatoora are not properly make some of them were not properly cooked housekeeping service was not good we told to clean our rooms 3 hours back and went out and after coming back we found not clean. The house keeping staff are not sincere. The bar room doesn't not tit bits with drinks every restaurant serves it. They have to improve these services. .

Although the room & ambience was good, the restaurant and service was pathetic. Hot food were served in plastic serving bowl. For water & juice served in paper glass, shortage and unwillingness to serve in glass. Variety of food in breakfast was sufficient. Paid for a stay my driver but the arrangement is like people will not keep their animals

It was plaesent stay. Staff was very well behaved and helpful too. Property was very beautiful n amenities were properly provided but just one thing to add we were provided with disposable spoon n fork for room service and other day also the similar cutlery was in buffet which was very inconvenient desserts were also missing in breakfast buffet

Property is nice built and well planned. Location wise little far for people visiting mayapur temple however location is good. Service is pathetic. Intercom was not operating. Need to call on personal mobile phone who is in shift. Difficult to reach restaurant people also for food ordering.

Our entire experience was good right from rooms to hotel amenities to in-house food to room service. We had booked a duplex and architect's room and enjoyed staying here. Property was very well maintained. Would recommend this to everyone.

Extremely over priced and not worth the money that they are charging now. For e. G. I booked through one of the travel portals ( mm t ) so there coming weekend 10th-11th aug while in kolkata 5 star properties the park, westin, hyatt, itc etc is cheaper than sonar bangla mayapur. This was our 3rd visit to the property in last 16 months and definitely service and standard have gone down in terms of room maintenance and upkeep, food quality mainly due to poor management, while in terms of pricing they have increased it by almost 30-40%. Some e. G. 1) the approach road of maybe 750 mtrs from highway to hotel is not done and remains temporary, hence dirt road. When we reached the road was swept away by rain and we had to take a 15 minutes detour to reach. In the evening we got lost in the narrow village roads and the hotel management didn't even bother to put up temporary road signs for its guests and all faced similar situation. 2) after check-in there was hair on the bed and food below lying below the bed. Was pointed out to housekeeping they of-course promptly cleaned 3) a hotel charging more that international hotel chains serves, juice, tea, coffee, water in poor quality paper cups also provide wooden fork and spoon. Definitely using washable items like porcelain etc will be more green than generating huge trash everyday of paper cups, spoons etc. 4) outside the hotel all kinds of trash are being dumped, very ugly scene 5) they do not serve continental food for lunch only available in evening but do not mention it anywhere. 6) whenever a car leave or enter the hotel premises they ask your room no and after check-out they let you wait at the gate and check whether you have paid your bills or not. Very humiliating for any guest, no star hotel will ever do this. They can very easily issue a gate pass kind of thing while check-out. 7) very average complimentary breakfast, egg is only non-veg option. Once again room charges are like 5-star but breakfast is like budget hotel.

Good stay. But not up to the mark. Stay should be more comfortable as compared to the price. Restaurant charges 18 % gst which is ridiculous
