Everything about the hotel was exceptional. Their rooms are very comfortable and clean, with proper bathroom amenities. Food was really good and great value for money, i must say. The staffs were very friendly and helpful and their services were attentive and efficient. We had a great time at the hotel. Loved the property and the surroundings, it's located just 5-10min far from the main market. Will definitely recommend it to my friends and we'll surely come next year.

Excellent service and amazing staff. The rooms and the property is nice with best views of the mountains, highly recommended for everyone. The food in the hotel is good in taste and quality. Even if your departure is early they give good food packets as per your needs.

Hotel have serious problems of central heating and electricity backup. Staff also not available at night. At nights it becomes a zombies hotel.

Hotel Gawaling is highly recommended. The staff is extremely friendly and do their best to ensure that you feel as much at home as possible. We arrived early, at about 7 am, but they let us into our rooms even though we were due to check in at noon - naturally the rooms were already available. One of our party fell sick and the staff arranged for medicines and helped us through it, and we were not charged for any of this. I would definitely stay there again when I am in Leh.

In future please do not book for those hotel , which do not have basic facility. Power supply available only 6 hrs , no generator . At temperature of 2 degree , their is no continuous hot water supply .
