Clarks avadh is a landmark hotel in the city of nawabs, lucknow. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, hazratganj. It is well connected and easily accessible. Most of the tourist sites are also situated at a comfortable distance from the hotel. The interiors of the hotel reflect the royal nawab touch. Beautiful paintings adorn the lobbies. There is a special emphasis on woodwork, with even the lifts having a wooden interior. Beautiful chikan designs are on display in corridors. The breakfast buffet is quite eclectic and sumptuous. However, there are some shortcomings that are not expected from a 5-star hotel. I booked a room with a riverside view. However, the same was not provided to us. Upon complaining about the same, no satisfactory response was given by the staff. The reception staff had assured us to revert after consulting with the manager of the hotel, but that did not happen. Many times, the reception and housekeeping department did not pick up the intercom call. Repeated reminders had to be given for getting a task done. The lock of the bathroom door was dysfunctional. My stay experience was below expectations and average. Especially, from the standards of a big brand like clark.

Hotel stay was good, but room service was not good. I asked him for one more blanket but the didn't give.

Cross check details 1000 times before calling the guest for check out.

It was all together a good experience. Just that i got a call from the hotel saying that my checkout is scheduled for today and you’re holding our room. I was shocked, as my checkout was tomorrow and i told them about the same and he told me that he will get back to me after cross checking and i never got the call back. I was out for some work that time. After i returned to hotel i went straight to that person, he told me it was a misunderstanding due to similar names. That person never apologised and a lady was there backing him, she also didn’t say word about the inconvenience caused by the call they made with cross checking. Mr over the call was literally accusing me saying that your check out is today, i told him it’s scheduled for 25th and he told me it’s 25th, but he called me on 24th around 1 pm. Unprofessional, needs to cross check before calling a guest always. Else everything was so good over there. Apology is missing.

It was a wonderful stay at hotel clarks awadh. The property is situated in the heart of the city and is accessible to almost all the heritage sites. Staff-rooms are spacious, with all basic amenities, the staff was courteous and alert, and the food was excellent. I personally used the gym services and found them exquisite. New and premium equipment with greenery around and natural light creates an amazing ambiance for a perfect workout. I highly recommend the property in lucknow. It was a wonderful stay at hotel clarks awadh. The property is situated in the heart of the city and is accessible to almost all the heritage sites. Rooms are spacious, with all basic amenities, staff-hotel staff was courteous and alert, and the food was excellent. I personally used the gym services and found them exquisite. they don’t have smoking room’s and room service order’s rate are too high we ordered 2 sandwiches our bill was 2100 seriously what type of service tax and it doesn’t even have a taste literally it’s my worst stay ever.

I had been staying here for quite sometime now. But off late the hotel has taken a new shape in terms of upgradation of infrastructure and all other facilities. The hospitality experienced in my recent visit was more welcoming. It is worth staying here and experience the warmth of renewed hospitality.
