Terrible Stay

I shared review but pics are not getting uploaded so not getting ahead. For the rate paid terrible stay. The rooms were dirty unkept very unhygienic we chose club mahendra property with such mega 5 star rates in place like mahableshwar for clean hygienic rooms but very dirty place firstly dirty hotel to top it was leakage all over inside the hotels buckets kept everywhere it would hove been nice to move around with umbrella inside the hotel. Staff were terrible very uncourteous absolutely non hospitable worst experience. Except for the housekeeping head rest all were non hospitable staff never again any mahendra property

During swimming, no towels were provided. We were waiting for an extra blanket for kids but didn't receive it. Ac and tv units are pretty old the food quality is average.

Not worth the money, charges they take are at par with 5 star hotel but service and infra is like 3 star. The parking space is less, the food is pathetic and the reception area is very small and chaotic

Stay was very nice. Staff was very humble co operative, best place ace in mahabaleshwar. All tourist points are very near by. Food was very good. Strongly recommended.

Had a very bad experience at saj mahabaleshwar. We had booked 4 superior rooms and we got 4 rooms of all other categories which were not up to the standard of superior rooms. shown while booking also differ from the actual rooms we got. They had a terrible service also regarding WiFi and valet. One room we got on the terrace with two beds attached to single bathroom. It was very scary to sleep on terrace with all the open wires running on our balcony and the exhaust of kitchen right on top of us especially with 4 small kids with us. The other room was opened after ages with lot of dust in it, we literally had to call room service to clean as they didn't bother to clean it before giving us the room. Only good point was breakfast. Being a such big resort they shut their kitchen at 10:30 p.m. Which is i think to early.

As hotel I will give average number as their rooms is good and resort is well-maintained, but basic amenities missing in room like bathrobe and dental kit, swing kit. So much fluctuation in electricity though it hardly matter to us, as we were out all day, bit issue when you plan to stay back in resort as each staff will ask your room number again and again. Food and beverage staff trained to do up selling which is ridiculously wrong. I don't want any extra meal so didn't book as all day we had planned outside. If I am at hotel I will order. But here they force you to take lunch and dinner at highly expensive price. If it would have better 5-star hotel I would have not mind to pay. But for this hotel it's much expensive. Also you have fine done restaurants available in other hotels. Please have food options at other places so you can enjoy your day.

It was a very average stay as compared to the rates. One of the restaurant was shut down for renovation and this was not updated on the website. This was a huge disappointment. The property is not maintained at all. Only saviour was the breakfast they offered

It's an old property. Hotel unit doesn't even have an elevator. But its location is very good, between Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar. Felt it's a little overpriced. Only 1 restaurant is functional on the property, all other restaurants and bars have been closed.

Very nice stay. But basic responsibility at critical areas is missing. Do read my review

Food is exceptionally well, performances like singing and dancing are arranged. Spacious and well facilitated rooms. The only issue was AC of the room was not working and went unnoticed by the staff before issuing the room. Big mistake but due to weather ac was not required. At the billing the lady swiped the amount which I had already paid while making the reservations but gave me a void receipt after that. Now I have to wait for the amount of to be credited in my account. Sense of responsibility in critical areas is highly missing. I never faced it when it was not Club Mahindra property. Rest everything is okay.

Epitome of overprice

This hotel is terrible when it comes at value for money. The rates should be cheaper than the current price. Pathetic food by the way and horrible staff which only tries to click a selfie with you! Weirdos!

Service has deteriorated

Have to mention that the service has deteriorated drastically. There were no toiletries and the towels provided were threadbare and had holes in them. The coffee and milk sachets were of an unknown company and we had to keep asking for them. Maintenance of the property has dropped too. I will not stay there again.
