The room and the view from it were excellent. The golf course by the sea was stunning. There was a new year's party at the private beach, which was worth it. The only downsides are that the overall maintenance of the washroom in the can be better and they need some repairs here and there. The blanket was too warm, the bed linen should be pure cotton, and the pool tiles were broken. The staff however, is very hospitable and helpful.

A truly unforgettable experience at chariot beach resort! stunning beach view, luxurious rooms, and exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond, and the food was delicious. Perfect for relaxation. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay

Palace of seepage with unhygienic restaurent

Pathetic rooms with bad smell os seepage at most of the places in building. Very unhinged food arrangement. Plates are not washed properly, breakfast menu was same for all days. Very poor service and highly unprofessional staff. Every 2nd customer was having heated arguments with reception due to issues in hotel.

The room was cosy and comfortable. The restaurant had variety, tasty and great apart from the waiting time. The property boasts a private beach and a king size pool. Quiet and cosy place to hang out. Great place for partying with friends and family.

the resort’s dining options were extremely disappointing. forcing guests to settle for a buffet dinner without the option of an à la carte menu is unacceptable, especially for a place that calls itself a resort. even something as basic as tea requires stepping out to find it elsewhere – which is absurd and inconvenient. this lack of flexibility and basic service ruins the experience. i would not recommend this resort to anyone expecting decent hospitality.

We had to cancel our stay due to a medical emergency in the family. They asked for medical proof, and i sent all of it, but they refused to consider a refund. When people have a genuine reason to cancel a vacation and have met your demands of proof, at least on a humanitarian basis they could consider a partial refund. Very disappointed

No alacat food for dinner only buffet which cost 1600- + tax person and no room service too. Finally checked out within 2hrs from checkin ac full noisy. Very worst behaviours.

The hotel staff was polite, no complaints on that. But, services were definitely not worth the high price they charge. We booked a suite and it mentioned the beach is accessible throughout. Till 6pm we can use it for going near water and later sit all time. But due to their private event they denied the beach access and the event staff was also very rude. We had to checkout the next day and wanted to visit but we couldn't! when told to the hotel member they said that's what is written in policy but nowhere while booking they mentioned on access can be denied if there is a private party! if after 6pm we can't access beach then what is the point of booking a private beach resort! we can go to public beaches then! but only to have that time wr booked a private beach resort! pls book this at your risk and if you are traveling for less days, this place is risky because you might miss out on days and time! i would say at these places book early and book a 5 star only! we had no choice due to unavailability hence booked this! cleanliness can also be better as per the prices they charge!

Chariot mahabalipuram beach resort is very good hindi and located at very very nice place having private beach i felt the rooms or rooms need some kind of upgrade the largest the door matches are old the we cannot be open properly then we had to call the people to open them up in the night they made delhi then we had a bit of exchange of words between the manager and not that great experience in some area service

Prime yet Neglected property

The location of the property is fantastic – you can stroll along the beach to reach the Shore Temple, and all major attractions are within 3-4 km. Due to ongoing renovations, we were upgraded to a spacious cottage with a private sit-out area. However, despite the great location, the property shows its age and poor maintenance. Sea-view rooms are small, distant from the beach, and lack outdoor seating. In the bathroom, improper water drainage led to water logging, and the internet speed was frustratingly slow at just 2Mbps. For faster service, they charged an excessive Rs 500/day for just 10-20Mbps, which feels unreasonable compared to standard hotel offerings.

Renovation work is going on. Building and rooms are quite old. No ceiling fans. Food very poor and expensive. Game rooms are not good at all. Good thing is they have a private beach which is ok. That’s it. Nothing more you can expect here.
