Very good location. Just 10 min walk from main market. Very good host. It's a homestay so there is no staff there, but the couple are very humble. . Don't eat outside, as the home food by them was just excellent. Nice cozy big clean rooms. And a cute small garden. Can't ask more. Go for it.

initially it was disappointed while check in cottage.. it was home stay.. it's very faar from market place.. but rooms was neat and clean.. and food is also delicious. rate was affordable. They have outdoor area where you can sit on swing and enjoy at night time. room service also commendable.

"i recently had the pleasure of staying at the cottage and i must say, it was an absolute delight! the cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. But what truly made our stay special was the exceptional hospitality of the owner, rajender ji. He was warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond throughout our stay, owner was always available to answer our questions, provide recommendations, and offer assistance whenever we needed it. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay.

Location is little far from matheran market area. Service was good but can be more better. Did not have any food but thankful for receiving assistance from owner for boiling baby milk. Hot water is not available 24/7 but i guess can be provided as per need

Location view is very nice and food is also nice. While talking about rooms the room was ok ok. Mattress was very thin which cause back-pain for me and blanket was also smelly. Cottage location is far away from market and aman lodge so you have to only walk to reach any of the location. There is no vehicle available as e-rickshaw only take passenger from aman lodge to market and viseversa.

Everything was really very good. But while we were staying there was no electricity, still because of inverter we can use light and fan but no wifi. You can access internet when electricity is there. For me personally when there is no network in phone and no wifi i could not able to do any work.

The location of this property is awesome. Surrounded by trees, clouds with the birds chirping. It was a very pleasant experience. The food was good and services was good too. Feels like home experience

Very polite & helpful owners. Very well maintained and colorful surroundings. Pleasant location. Lot of space nearby rooms. Cleanest rooms. Food was also good.

Beautiful surroundings, great location and ambience. The room was clean and comfortable with excellent service. Food was good and the service was efficient. We were pleased with the stay. Definitely hoping to be back for a longer visit in the future!

The property is well maintained and clean. The owner is very cooperative. Though you'll not find all the amenities of a hotel but you'll not miss any of those at this place.

It was amazing experience with the cottage it was in the middle of greenery. The host was very polite and helpful. Only please make sure when you reach to the car stand. Hourse people will start chasing you to take there packages we got into trap with them and gave 550 each for just 1. 3 km. If you don't have problem to walk 1. 3 km than don't take hourse for cottage. Also if you take the railway track to reach the cottage you will be surprised by seeing amazing views. Now about the food provided by the host was delicious and tasty. I would say you must opt for food here. The cottage is near myra's view point.

We had a very comfortable stay at kshitij cottage. Place is very nicely maintained with a very lush garden and nice sitting area. Place also has a verandah with glass partition to keep out monkeys where you can sit and eat. Special mention to mr rajendra more who took good care of us and served a delicious dinner! the good part of this place is that it is midway between the dasturi car point and the main points so you have to walk only half the distance. There is a nice view point and waterfall located right next to this place and early morning silence the waterfall sound was very pleasing to the ears. Place was extremely clean. Only negative point if i have to say is that i found mattress to be little hard. But given all the tiredness of the day and the lovely dinner had a good night's sleep. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
