Lords central is one of its kind in matheran. Have stayed here multiple times. The place has a old worldly charm. The location is convenient with stunning views. The parsi food is simply amazing. The staff is friendly. The rooms need a bit of a make over. Regards, ashwin navelkar

Lord's central hotel has a very good location and the property is stunning along with the view if someone chooses the valley view rooms he can see the entire khandala view point the swimming pool is regularly cleaned the staff are extremely humble and helpful the rooms are good and clean the only thing is that the property is a bit old and needs some renovation but although it gives a vintage vibe and the hotel food is very good i mean like genuinely good the quantity along with the quantity is very impressive and the waiter is also very humble even he asks if we want extra food or not so the playing area is also very good and in good condition i would prefer if you have a mid range budget you should definitely opt for this hotes and also you should know it's one of the oldest property of matheran so it's very interesting staying there

Lords central hotel is located close to khandala point and matheran station. You can view the fascinating sunrise from the hotel. Also very near to ram mandir and main market from where you can catch horses and e-car as well

Very nice room, nice view of valley from balcony, swimming pools also well maintained. Staffs are also very nice. Awesome view of sunrise from balcony.

If you want a hotel where you wake up in the morning and then have this breathtaking view in front of you, then this place has it if you book one of their valley facing rooms. It's a quiet and very rustic hotel with a lot of hisyroy and a very heritage feel. So none of the rooms or the furniture are new at all and neither have any been upgraded over the years. So after a very long time we saw a small b pl tube tv in the rooms! food is expensive and hence best to eat elsewhere. They have a decent sized swimming pool facing the mountains which is nice. Staff is very warm and courteous since many of them are long timers there. If you need to pick a book to read, they have a small library. Overall ok experience and good to stay for a couple of nights. Hotel will do well if they upgrade the flooring, electricals, bathrooms with geysers and provide some basic amenities in room like tea/coffee bags, tissues and hot water pots in each room.

Velly view room has excellent view of khandala valley and direct sun rise from room. Swimming pool was clean and maintained. Room are old british style, premise has tall old trees. Staff is polite and service was good. Overall good place to stay.

It's not a worth of money given. No intercom. No proper tv service small old tv of bpl. Old ac with no proper cooling high price of food. Room furniture and interior is very much old. Bathroom and toilet with old accessories. Will not recommend to everyone. Bad experience for family. Instead of discount to me give that all money to such hotels to improve

Location was good but room was very bad it was poorly lit-ted with a single bulb the tv was not working &very old bpl model washroom did not had proper latch &shower was not working there was no kettle in the room. In the swimming pool shower was rusted. Check in experience was very bad where the owner insisted canceling the booking because i forgot to add my kids in the booking. She also insisted to take buffet breakfast including the rooms overall experience was very bad.

The property location and the stay experience was really nice. A typical parsi property takes you back in time and to add to it the location is brilliant. A very well maintained swimming pool and other sports activities adds to the wonderful experience. The tree cover within the property gives you the satisfying feel of living with nature and what better justice could it be when you in matheran. However the accessories provided would definitely require a few changes with time while maintaining the old school charm.

Buffet breakfast is limited in restaurant and expensive. Al cart e not available. Swimming pool, badminton court and service is very good. Very near to railway station.
