The selected room has only one small ventilation window, bathroom has not clean and may worms and cockroaches seen in it.

The rooms which we saw online were not the same in reality. At the time of booking in the room, I had added 2 children of 11 age, so 1 room 2 bed was visible. But there is no space for extra beds. And separately took 250 rs for mattresses. It looked like a local chal. It was in a dig. It was completely packed. Because of it, there was a weird smell and 6 big cockroaches, 3 small cockroaches, mosquitoes, spiders, and snails inside the room. No wifi, tv connection, no balcony, and no sitting area. Because of this my kids and I were sick. It is a very inappropriate place to live. special note; Whenever I contacted he spoke to that caretaker and both were blaming each other. No one gave the solution. And if someone wants to stay there please must cross-check if it's not this place. it's requested to caretaker. Please don't give this room to anyone. Host was good but the location of the homestay was remote

Due to heavy rain and mist we reached the parking lot section of matheran, late at night. We booked the property thinking it would be nearby. Host contacted us before 2-3 times. But reaching there network problem started. From local people we learn t that we, a senior citizen couple, have to walk 2. 5 km thru the railway track and subsequently had to with our luggage in the midst of rain, fog and darkness. Host was waiting there for us near the station. No drinking water, towel, minimum toiletries provided. Even to quench our thirst was not possible as local shops closed and host didn't give us normal water even.

Very bad stay

Rooms were unclean. Just when we entered the room, there were cockroaches running towards the bed. The washroom was attached to one of the rooms and had a washbasin just beside the bed. If someone washed their hands then water would fall on the bed too. The property location was in the village space which was very unclean and noisy. The stay ruined our Matheran experience.
