Poor Stay

Misleading in one word. The hotel is on prime location. The pricing is on par with some really good properties in the vicinity like the trident or the intercontinental. So expectations are set accordingly. However, moment you cross the lobby and enter the rooms, it all falls apart. The rooms are dingy, the furniture old and the service substantially lower standard. There's a visible difference in the entire set up. Either the owners are not reinvesting or the managers sarovar don't have the 4-5 star abilities. The check in was a disaster with being allocated a smoking room etc. Must say the front desk was kind enough to upgrade and tried to make things better but their hands very clearly tied.

The stay was really excellent. Food was amazing as i tried biryani. The most important thing i liked was the staff. 50 stars for all of them. Right from the entrance reception lobby room service the entire staff is really really helpful. I would love to visit again sooner an sooner great stay!

Terrible Stay

I had made a special request for my birthday that was not done by them. Also, so many things were missing in the room i had to call and ask for everything and the service was terrible. Also, when i asked they said swimming pool is working till 6pm but when i went at 5they didnt allow me and after having an argument with the manager i got the permission but that too on my own risk.

1. Excellent location bang on the marine drive 2. Decent sized rooms opt for sea view or partial sea view rooms 3. The bathrooms are bit dated needs renovation 4. Breakfast was short buffet but excellent choices with good services 5. Oriental blossom is the chinese restaurant in hotel which is a must try 6. Beautiful roof top pool with excellent view

Location is outstanding, food quality and taste is excellent, but expensive. Room was clean and well managed, amenities are basics. Service is prompt, staff is very friendly, polite and professional. Highly recommended.

Great location to stay, the sunset and the marine drive view is just amazing. I didn’t enjoy the hospitality there, people at the concierge wasn’t helpful and in a happy note. It was a let down.
