Very costly average room mmt is fooled by charging high prices for this they charged 9000 where hotel is asking for 6500 only so from mmt is worst decision

Its a decent hotel. In a posh location so might be little expensive but as we are living in a posh location its good and worth it. Visitors are not allowed in the room.

Decent place to stay near jaslok hospital

We (family of 3) stayed one night at the shalimar hotel. Pros - courteous staff, clean rooms, sumptuous food. Cons - room was fairly small, no views from window, and water pressure was low for bathing. Overall it's a decent place to stay. For us the biggest factor in choosing this hotel was for it's location (very close to jaslok hospital.

Very rude staff, very small congested room, not even a tooth brush given at the hotel.. forget about all other self-care stuff!! Even a bottle of water needed so many phone calls and follow-ups !!! Staff uses words like “get out” instead of “check out” for guests, which is humiliating… where is the basic hospitality ?!? Will never stay here and never refer anyone to this place.
