Family trip

Hotel location is the best part. Food was great. Rooms were clean but no towels when we checked in. The hotel service staff needs more training. They kept parking all the dirty cleaning carts in front of our rooms irrespective of telling them again and again not to do it. Our luggage reached to our rooms in an hour after check in. Service wise hotel deserves only 3 stars on higher side.

Scenic views, sub-par service

This resort boasts a stunning location, offering breathtaking views of the entire valley. Witnessing the changing colors of the sky throughout the day was truly mesmerizing. However, the service fell short of expectations. Despite the property's premium pricing, the staff seemed inexperienced and struggled with basic requests. Specifically, i experienced several issues during my stay: i had ordered a lassi that was full of sugar, complained about it twice and yet nothing was done and was eventually billed for it. Ordered for drinking water was delivered after 2 hours after 3 reminders. And worse they brought water thrice after that and once the same person when i was half asleep! the lift didn't work and there was no intimation and had to carry the heavy luggage by myself. Staff doesn't seem to know the finer details of service considering the property isn't cheap which left a lot to be desired. Rating: 2. 5/5 stars

Located at the top of the hill amber dale offers an unparalleled view of munnar. The service and food is of 5 star quality. We enjoyed our stay here and celebrated our anniversary for which they arranged a beautiful candle light dinner

Nice hotel and great location. Very friendly staff and go out of the way to take care of the guests. Good and clean rooms, valley view very nice. Food is top class and customization possible for guest requests. F&b manager jinoy is everywhere takes care very well. Special mention is due to preeti, vidhya in restaurant and ayyappan in front desk. Overall very enjoyable stay. Trekking guide rajan is very informative.

I have four complaints overall: 1. Wifi was too slow to even open instagram. We really struggled with this throughout our stay. 2. There was no hot water supply throughout the duration of our stay. I wasn't even able to take bath. They mentioned it was an issue with motor but it couldn't be fixed in two days. This is something i would never expect from a 5 star rated hotel. 3. On the second day, house keeping took the hand towel which was not on floor and didn't replace. Further, they reduced one towel even though it was two of us staying. 4. During the breakfast, the plates and bowls kept on finishing and we had to always ask and wait for the new ones to arrive.

Very comfortable stay. The hospitality is very nice and staffs are very friendly especially seethal from reception. The stay was very comfortable especially the valley view rooms. The view is very peaceful and is a perfect getaway destination from busy life. The food is also very tasty and is combination of south indian and continental cuisines. Overall the stay was a nice experience

Amber dale has a great location with stunning views, but the narrow roads make it hard to reach. The food was tasty, but many items were unavailable. Staff service was good but slow sometimes.

Wonderful stay at amber dale munnar

We booked 2 rooms in amber dale munnar last week and we had a pleasant stay. The staffs are really good in hospitality and they took care of our needs really well, especially the restaurant staffs. We stayed with my family and in laws. The views from the rooms are good especially in the early morning, i would say the view is unique because the resort is situated in the higher side of the valley and you get a top view of the tea garden. The dinner was excellent but the breakfast was ok. The rooms were clean and overall we had a nice stay. Thanks to the team.
