Usually I don't write reviews but since this trip was our first trip completely by public transport, I realized that reviews play an important role. Janaki Niwas: Just hearing the name, Vastu got attracted and the place is beautiful as the name suggests. Location: Approximately 500 to 700 meters from the beach. 10 minutes walk. The place from where share autos are available to go to Janjira Fort is approximately one and a half - two km. Looking at the quiet and clean streets around Janaki Niwas, one cannot help but be tempted to walk there. Living Room / Premises: Basic things like fan, hot water, spacious terrace and swings are here but also cleanliness, landscaped yard, various plants in the fence are four moons!! (A/C is also available here) Food arrangement: It may sound like an exaggeration but I have never eaten anything like this before. Pohe, upma tea vegere is available here for breakfast which was more delicious and tasty than I could have imagined. Dada's way of growing is very beautiful. I myself love simple and vegetarian food and found it here. Others had fished; According to him it was very tasty too. Just as every place has a different taste, different color, different culture, Janaki Niwas felt like a celebration for us. As the manager of Janaki Niwas lives there, the feeling of staying in a beautiful house will remain in our memories forever.

The property is situated in the greens of the western ghats. Very serene and peaceful. The host and his family are wonderful people very hospitable and kind. The home made food certainly is a charm, very delicious. The place stays naturally cool. All in all a great place to explore the maharashtrian coast lone from.

The property is located close to beach. A spacious room with minimal but necessary facilities. The home made yummy food is the usp. Very warm and friendly host and his family. Certainly recommend for a short stay.

Got exactly same experience of this poem listening since childhood. Owner are so kind & lovely, that I felt like family. Really nice experience. If you want to stay near murud and you want real peace and essense of kokan stay in Janki vila. Rooma are so clean and hygiene. The view from room is great. Also food is so tasty & delicious. I will suggest you can have your breakfast dinner and lunch here itself. In murud there no such good restaurant. Location is best, walking distance from beach. located heart of city.

It was a short trip to murud with family and i was looking a home stay for peaceful and confirm-able stay. Through make my trip, i got to know about janki bnb and as usual read customer reviews. I had been to murud couple of times and stayed at various places including regular hotels and homestay but janki bnb was stands at number one position due to its proximity to beach, confirm-able stay, clean room, peace of mind and most importantly home cook food with great taste. What else we need for memorable trip. Property is located just 5 min walk from beach which is good for peace and pleasant stay. Cleanliness is very good. Janki villa is surrounded by trees to give nice feeling like visiting your native place. Hosts are very kind.

The room and bathroom was clean. Its really near to the main road and murud beach. One easily go to the khora jetty or the rajapur jetty to get the ferry to the murud janjira fort. The room's rate is also ok as there are no ac or tv. The water is really hard here, after 15-20 mins of bathing the soap lather blocks the drainage. I had to spray the water on the drain to get it working again. But the bungalow is really beautiful. The open terrace is very quite and peaceful place to sit and relax. If you need only a simple clean room, it's a good choice. However, the overall experience was not good enough for me. There was only the caretaker who attended us and lead us to the room. We also saw a dead baby rat on the stairs. Fortunately we didn't saw any rats in the room though. The bungalow is basically empty. Usually in any hotel or villas the owner or the employees are there all the time. But none lives here. We were only ladies and there were no guests in other rooms so we lived in that bungalow all alone even at night. There wasn't any lock on the main gate as well. It didn't feel secure at all. I kept asking myself if we will be okay. When i asked for food the caretaker said the dinner order has to be given at 5 pm - 6 pm. Yet she was kind enough to give us food when i ordered at 8 pm. But we had to go to the main gate of the bungalow fence to get the food plate from them. That was really weird. Besides the bungalow there are a lot of big trees which look good in the daylight. But at night that turns out to look scary as there is no light at all between the trees outside the window. If you are going with you family or friends its a fine place at the nearby location from the beach.

Perfect property if you're planning to visit murud beach and murud janjira fort. Host is very kind and polite. Food is also good.

Homestay is good. It's neat and clean. Whatever we order for breakfast, lunch, dinner. It's too delicious. I haven't ate such fish before. Keep ui the quality. Will visit soon

Its budget friendly stay surrounded by peaceful environment. Owners are very polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend someone who wants to spend their stay with their loved once. Murud beach is just 9-10 minutes walkable from here however, ac is not installed in the room we have booked but during summer the condition are quite hot and humid so plan accordingly. Over all for the stay of one or two days it's a decent place at this price point. We have booked two rooms with double bed for just rs 3. 5k. For thali rates are as follows chicken rs 200- fish re 350- parking is also free
