The stay was pleasant. Amazing property. Well maintained rooms. However the buffet options were not much and average. The food that we ordered separately was good but in the buffet the taste was average

Property is not centrally located so the to and fro from all major places is a bit. Also due to some road repair work you need to take a longer route to reach the property. Service can definitely be better.

Sterling is the best hotel to stay in mussoorie. The view, the hospitality and in terms of everything a hotel can offer. This was my third visit to the hotel and i will have many more in future. Only one suggestion please improve your breakfast.

I took cottage type room and when i checked in, the room was dusty along with bedding and flooring. I have requested the housekeeping but still the room remains dusty. Food ordered for in room dinning and terribly bad and super expensive. Breakfast and staff was good. Lastly pickup and drop from this hotel to mall road will be charged 1k.

Poor Stay

The hotel has rooms scattered all over the campus, with no protection from monkeys/langoors, who are all over the place. One cannot step into the balcony, nor outside the room gate, due to to this one is confined to the room unless ******ed. The hotel is in secluded locality, with no facility for the stay of drivers. My driver had to go back to mussoorie and search for a room for himself, thus i couldn't go out on mall road, during evening time

Over-hyped and over expensive, not worthy to spend

Book it only when you don't have other options, expensive and late room service ( 1 med size pizza, 1 noodles, 2 cup tea can cost you 1900) and restaurant in dine service is not good at all, you have to chase them for cutlery and get bill signed. On both days while breakfast staff failed to manage the crowd, on some table waiters chatting and wasting time taking special orders while on other tables people were waiting for basic things like water and tissues. Road to reach the hotel is too narrow, reaching the room from reception is a maze with lifts and many stairs, you can't explore the hotel's other amenities as it's a challenge to roam within the hotel.

Good Stay

We had a great and very comfortable stay with the hotel as the rooms were either newly built or recently renovated. Initially, we got the rooms accessible only through many flight of stairs but the staff was nice enough to change our rooms. We especially liked the room size and the speed of room service. Even with a lot of guests staying at the property, we probably didn't have to wait for the request for more than 2 minutes at any time. It was my wife's birthday so the hotel provided a complimentary decoration of the room, it wasn't very extravagantly done but it was very thoughtful of them. Special mention to the restaurant guys, pyare, ashish and team for arranging the birthday celebration with music and a nice cake. The location is quite close to the mall road so moving around was easy from here. One thing which was not very nice was that there were a lot of indoor activities as shown on the hotel photos but most of them were paid and costed moderately higher than one would expect. There were free activities too, but they were not maintained or well kept. In conclusion, very nice stay and staff but not much to do at the property to unwind and relax unless you pay for it seperately.

I recently stayed at sterling in mussorie located near library chowk i spent two nights there hotel staff was incredible and very friendly the room was spacious and well managed sometimes i face an network issue but wifi network was good food was very tasteful overall experience was very good

Stay was okay the hotel is situated at a remote location with difficult roads. One issue is that you have to climb 150 plus steps to reach to rooms very difficult
