Conveniently located very close to botanical gardens, tasty and healthy food catering to your choice all made in their inhouse kitchen, ample parking space, large convenient rooms with running hot water and well appointed dining space with well manicured gardens. Excellent service with the service staff promptly and pleasantly looking after your needs.

It was a superb property ambience, view, location there is nothing disappointing about this property. And i highly recommend to get a taste of their in house pantry, food is amazing, and their hospitality too. Overall i am highly satisfied, looking forward to visit this place again.

Very spacious villa in the midst of bustling ooty. They have 3 caretakers who will cook breakfast and other food depending on your choices. They were very accomodating. Ground floor had one big family room with one king and one queen bed and can sleep 4 people along with other rooms. They have a tv and two dining tables. The first floor has library and a billiard table with carrom.

Great place, clean rooms although old type basic rooms, well maintained, had good time playing billiards too, cordial staff good breakfast and dinner and a big thank you too for allowing us to check in early

The most dirty/ unfriendly hotel

When we reached there the rooms were not clean, everything, bedsheets, towels were very dirty, smell of perfume was on the bedsheets in both rooms, rooms were so dirty, bathroom very slippery, not cleaned. We talked with the owner on phone, he could let the rooms cleaned, but still not clean. They cleaned toilet with a dirty towel and then the sink with same towel. At 10 pm they shut the water tab and we did not had acces to water. Daytime water was too cold. Staff was unfriendly, we became ill there. We wanted to leave hotel next day, but could not go as 3 of us got ill with high fever. We were there for 2 days, no one of the staf cared about us, not even asked how we were doing. I think this hotel has to be closed. Kitchen is so dirty. Therefor we did not take breakfast. It spoil t our holiday.

it was off season and the price was higher if we have gone there without booking we would have got other best hotels if more fesiltice with lesser price, staff was good 👍

My stay at the resort was delightful, earning a rating of 4. 5 out of 5. The aesthetics were impressive, with tastefully decorated surroundings that added to the relaxing ambiance. The cleanliness throughout the resort was impeccable, reflecting a high standard of maintenance. While the food and related service could use some improvement, particularly in variety and quality, the overall experience was elevated by the serene atmosphere and well-kept facilities. Very good location 5 to 10 minutes walk to main market and the food quality is also nice. Rooms are spacious, neat and clean. Staff is also polite.

Colonel's Inn is located very close to Botanical garden .. We stayed here for 2days and we totally enjoyed our stay. The food is absolutely homely and staffs r friendly... It's in a quiet place, which makes it even more better. Its good for family and is a kid friendly place...

Room wise it's good, all the amenities was there as mentioned location also walkable distance from botanical garden. You can book and follow the google location to reach the destination and checkin. Care taker will be always available to help your need. Pols don't call to the property owner for any of your need because he doesn't know how to talk politely to his customer.

Good place, breakfast provided was very good. Good service by caretakers. One con is - not sufficient hot water in the morning. Not sure if it was geyser issue.

Very near to the government botanical gardens, hence the road leading to this property might be blocked during peak season. This is a beautiful place to spend quality time with family. Food is very good and better than some restaurants in ooty! totally a worthy stay. I'd definitely come stay here when i'm in ooty again and i'm staying for longer.

Nice place to stay as family. Big rooms to accommodate big families. When you go with parents siblings for a family outing, this is the best place than hotels or resorts where you need to stay in separate rooms. Washrooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is very caring and always available. The quality of the facility is excellent. Proximity to the main shopping area makes this place more great.
