There's no facility hot water, room heeter, security. Room booking for double bed & provide single bed. Wash basin leakage and not clean even informed servail time. Staff not reply

Stained bedsheet, no electric kettle and the bathroom was dirty old garbage from previous guests not removed. It's a basic room for economic travellers. Friendly staff. Breakfast menu is basic. A little overpriced for what it has to offer. I wouldn't come to this hotel again.

Kindly do not refer such hotels. Especially for families. When i reached ooty and saw the room it was a nightmare. Some how i managed a room in some other hotel which is connected to them. Very bad hotel. I request to publish updated photos and ensure the room is safe and clean to stay.

The stay at hillcrest metro was fairly mediocre. The rooms were extremely small, and a lot of basic amenities were not available. First off, i specifically requested for a room good for 3 people over a week in advance, and the room they gave was just extremely congested. The extra mattress was kept on the floor, unlike in some hotels wherein they provide a frame as well - which just seems like a basic courtesy for the guest. It isn't good to see the wallpaper peeling off the walls either. About the basic amenities, i'd like to first address the major issue with their bathroom water heater. They promised 24/7 hot water availability, but when i tried to use it in the morning, it was freezing! i had to let nearly a bucket fill up before it reached an almost barely regular room temperature. Also, what kind of hotel does not provide you with a kettle these days with some coffee or tea packets? apart from this, the service just isn't the best. They took quite a while to just process people leaving from the stay, and surprisingly enough, didn't even verify the identification of those checking into the hotel! i must have not mentioned that they do not have a telephone in the rooms, and the only means of calling their receptions is by dialing their mobile number. Problem is, either nobody picks up or it is out of service. The restaurant was fairly decent though. Overall, i don't think i'd want to return back to this accommodation.

Finding a good hotel in ooty is really a big challenge and this hotel is somewhat underrated in makemytrip. Booked this hotel in december last weekend so the price is a little bit higher usually than. It's organised by majestic hotel only so you can find the restaurant opposite to this hotel. Room is very chilly and geyser facility is there. Upon a request they serve hot water for drinking also. Center located to all locations especially boat lake is very nearer. I can suggest this hotel to everyone if you want to stay and book this hotel one week before to avoid over charges.

Food is good but rooms are not clean and bad smell in the room. Hot water and hotel service are good. Need to improve the room maintenance
