The hotel mountview situated in phalgham is very neat and clean, providing excellent stay. The mountain view from the room is gorgeous.

The property is at a central location, all amenities are within walking distance. We visited during new year. The first night we were very uncomfortable as the room was extremely cold, the toilet flush was not working and recurrent power cuts were happening. Every time we had to wake up and switch on the room heater. However next morning the staffs were kind enough to change the room to a better one. Then only we started enjoying our stay. The staff were really courteous and helpful. The view from the room was very good. The restaurant was good enough

Travel-led with parents. Nice stay, with centralized heaters and property very near to the main road and shopping. View of the mountains and lake from the property is beautiful.

It's good to stay there; the mountain view is great, but the room and washroom are older and the latest features, such as hot water.

It was an average experience. There was construction going on which started in the morning around 8:30, at this time the temperature generally remains low, especially during winters. This hampers your sleep and you can't even go outside because of the construction. When we talked about this they were like "this is normal". Also the knob of our radiator was broken which means we can't adjust the temperature on our own it has to be done with players and screwdrivers. So we were either too hot or too cold. There was no exhaust in our bathroom. The good things were, the staff was helpful and the room was neat and clean. There is a good view from the hotel of mountains and river. We did not try the hotel food.

While booking by mistake i filled one adult in each room but in actual we were four, we had a talk on this issue before coming to pahalgam with mountview staff and they said no problem but when we reached it was late night and they asked for rs 10000 more after lot of discussions they agreed on 6000. The rooms were just near to reception full of noise,

The food was good and the staff was very cooperative. Also, the central heating of that place was great with the hot water running in the bathroom. Especially in that cold weather in kashmir, you need a hot blanket on your bed. That was also there. Overall it was a good place to stay. And the location was very good. From that location we can visit lavender park, beta-ab valley, park, amusement park and other valleys. The location was very near to other facilities like atm and other restaurants.

I have booked suite room. Room is good but it is winter, heater was not working. We called multiple times to come and check but was resolved after 2-3 hours. Morning hot water problem started. No hot water and house keeping stayed 1hour in the bath room to check the issue. But i found that power was not there so was causing the issue. House keeping doesn't aware how to fix the it. Food was good. Hotel is in the main market.

Located near the river. The view is beautiful. Centrally heated. Staff is nice and very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good.

Stayed here for 4 nights with family. Staff is very warm and hospitable. Their property is good with all amenities in the room. Property location is also good. Must try is the vegetarian food at their restaurant.
