Food is very good services are also good, but the place is dilapidated the maintenance is very poor. It’s good to be old style but furniture has to be clean.

The baradari palace is truly a hidden gem in the city of patiala, very close to the cities of chandigarh and delhi. The aura of the past blended seamlessly with modern facilities and the mughal-sikh-english architecture of the building provide for an excellent gateway away from the bustle of everyday life. The food was great and the staff was most polite and helpful. Looking forward to come back for another weekend trip. Added pictures

Huge property but poor room interior

Area is huge, but very poor interior of rooms. Bathroom was big but looking like very average. Rooms are far away with each other. Exterior of building has very old white wash.

Staying at a heritage property is a unique experience. Staff is courteous. Food is decent. Air conditioning should improve. Property is spacious & clean. Swimming pool is missed.

Poor hospitality

We were locked out of our room after dinner. The lock didn’t open. Staff inadequate. Called someone from outside. Took 30 minutes. No one from management contacted us for this. Apologies are far from reality. Zero hospitality

Good spacious property, palace converted into hotel has its own plus/negative points. Spacious rooms and bathrooms and furniture remind of maharajas glory but not upto the mark maintenance of spaces, doors, windows, gardens etc is cause of concern.

Decent room and breakfast but taken aback by the bathroom

I liked the room and the location. Greenery all around. The hotel and facilities are also decent. However, the single person occupancy room has bathrooms without doors. I get the fact that no privacy is needed for a single person but it's weird. I would've liked it to be like a normal closed bathroom.

Very good location but the only problem, a tall person will have a lot of problem in sleeping as the beds are feasible for 5’8 max. Rest too good!

Heritage hotel at reasonable price

Baradari palace is one good heritage hotel to stay a night just to gain access to all the great vista. Many areas within and surrounding the hotel are instagram worthy. Breakfast buffer is very good. And manager mohit is always around to assist.

The place and property was nice, calm and easily accessible. The staff was helpful and professional. The only issue was food. We ordered chicken noodle and caesar salad. The chicken was stale and bit raw, after eating small amount, we had a bout of vomiting.
