The property is located in upper pelling and offers breathtaking views of kanchenjunga from the rooms. The staff is polite, helpful and provides excellent service. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-maintained. The property has a non veg restaurant with delicious food. However, food quality and hygiene. The property is recommended for its location, view and value for money.

Except entrance road. Everything excellent. Even standard rooms are big enough, valley with kanchanjangha view from window and small varanda bathroom spacious, clean but only soap provided, geyser 24 hrs staff n manager polite, room service in time hotel restaurant pocket friendly and quality also good overall

I have paid rs. 4400- including breakfast. First road for vehicle is not there, you have to walk to reach the lodge. Room is average in respective of the rent paid. I have paid rs. 600- for breakfast. They provide only a loo pratha without any side dish. This lodge is very very poor. If you will get under rs. 1500, you can avail. Otherwise don't stay

View from the room balcony is awesome. You wake up to see rolling hills and if u are lucky, you can see kanchenjunga if the sky is clear. Rooms are spacious, neat and washroom is clean. Very good housekeeping staff. Food is quite decent though options are limited. Location of the property is a put off, hotels exterior, reception and dining area is shabby. Hotel staff are very warm especially prashanth.

Firstly, it's more of a homestay. Even if the location is not very bad (though no car access to the doorstep), other basic amenities were lacking. We had experienced powercut for an entire day! We had to take candlelight dinner (the most unromantic one though). In the evening, the bathroom / toilet was infested by lots of moths. There was practically no room service. Food options were very much limited, though the quality and taste of the food were okay. With the prolonged power outage, we also experienced an outage of mobile internet service as well. Room was very average and so was the toilet / bathroom. TV was there but there was no active DTH service! Geyser was available but what's the use of it without electricity! They provided only one towel and a miniscule size soap as toiletries. The condition of the roads outside the hotel is also not up to the mark and quite congested. Overall, a terrible experience!!! Won't recommend to anyone!

The hotel is really nice to stay. Behavior of the staffs are really very good. Location is near a football ground. You have go down a bit below like 100 meters from the ground by walking but hotel staffs carry the luggage and so should not be any issue. The foods are also tasty but you have to order a bit early as they have to buy it from market before preparation. We went during march first week and there were load shedding though they have power backup.

It was a very pleasant stay in sodizang retreat. The entrance of the hotel is a little tricky otherwise the rooms and view from the room is amazing. Food is also very nice and the best part is the service. People are so nice and friendly and cooperative. Had a great time staying there.

Hotel is at upper pelling, the view from the hotel balcony is awesome. Need to order dinner in advance so that they can prepare amd make it ready for you. The food was good and tasty.

Property location is great. Clear mountain view from room. Their food is also great at a reasonable price. Hotel staff behaviour is really good.
