We had an awful experience at silent wood homestay. Basic amenities were not present. There was no power for the whole day and we were forced to change our plans and move out next day to gangtok (booking through mm t only. 2nd day booking amount (rs 3500) of silent woods lost in the process. Expectation from booking through mmt: basic facilities should be made available in accordance with charges.

Lovely location and awesome place. But rooms don't like what they are in pictures. You will be disappointed when you check in and find rooms in run down condition. But full marks to the service and food. The lady in the kitchen serves you tasty, homely food with a lot of love. If the rooms are upgraded well, then this homestay will be a premium property
