Better experience than taj. The room is exquisite, minimalist yet royal. The aura of the place is calm and vibrant. Location wise this heritage property is perfect. Important sites are at a distance of 10 minutes by walk. The general manager mr rajesh who attended us was very kind. The stay was completely worth it. Thank you for the kind hospitality.

Very good and comfortable room with good breakfast. It is in a very good location and was within walking distance from promenade beach. Food was very good and the staff were very very helpful and friendly. Overall our stay was very good. Would definitely like to visit again. Read less

The grand hotel d'europe in pondicherry situated just 10mins away from the promenade beach. Here are some of the pros and cons: pros: - clean and comfortable rooms - friendly service - excellent food options - convenient location - beautiful architecture - welcoming and helpful staff cons: - prices are a bit high - breakfast options could be better

Car parking is the constraint in this hotel. Absolutely very difficult to get a parking slot on the road

The place is very well located and extremely well maintained. The staff is very helpful. The only thing to keep in mind is that the ground floor rooms are right in front of the swimming pool so there is a lack of privacy that way. However, our stay was overall pretty good.

It was a well spent three days in this heritage hotel. True to its name it is grand with french architecture upgraded to modern times. Staff were courteous. Mr. Muruganad was very kind and helpful in planning the trip and getting us customized food items.

Amazing room, good breakfast, walking distance from the promenade beach which is one of the happening places in pondicherry. Didn't get chance to try much options from the food menu but did try the pizza and it was amazing.
