The calm hotel

There are hotels that are good, there are hotels that are welcoming and then there are hotels which feel like your little corner. Ramathra is built that way and most importantly a lot of the effort from the owners (for whom this has been home) goes in keeping it that - a home for travelers. It's big but cozy, it's airy and comforting, it gives a whole new meaning to holiday travel. You have ample time to spend with yourself or your family minus the humdrum of TV or phones. To top it all, the staff- is not just warm but treat us as the guests of the Maharaja who once lived here. You almost always forget to ask something from them and take it that they will make it happen for you. Hopefully, the place keeps its charm and calm and we will remind ourselves of visiting the place again.
