An awesome property with the best of amenities and courteous staff. Room was very good. Located not very far from police bazar. Away from the hustle. A must stay for ones who are looking for a home stay with a feel of a very good hotel keep up the good work damantre and their staff.

We had a great stay with superb room service, extremely polite staff, and tasty food. One should definitely consider this stay; it is in the middle of the city and has many attractions within walking distance. Highly recommended!

Its a executive stay, guest house slighly away from the busy lanes of the police bazar region, peaceful. But we had some issues with warm water and geyser. Breakfast had a limited menu, and the incharge/ cook was not ready for next order to come. No intercom. We had request him to start our tv settop box. Charges should be brought down.

3. So many strait stairs unable up for seniors. Room nicely arrangements parking is not give whole night. Rest is ok.

Manager very rude

Very poor management. They don't have ample staff to manage the property. Plus the manager is very very rude. I have never came across such a rude person. The name of the manager is babu. He even came to our room to fight with us. Hotel not safe. It is in a very secluded location. Not recommended at all.

Enjoyed a pleasent stay at damantre b&b homestay. Enjoyed staying in a homely arrangement. The property is within shillong city limits and very well managed by the owner of the property. Staffs engaged for providing service at the homestay were very friendly and the foods were delicious. Above all the tariff is also reasonable considering the location, facilities and overall experience of living in a british era bungalow. Would highly recommend for family & groups.

Thank you Babu and the team for making our stay so amazing. Stayed there for 4 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The homestay was so beautiful,clean with hospitable staffs and the location was nice. Highly recommend this homestay! Missing the omelette jyoti used to make it for us 🙂 Thank you Team Damantre 🙃

I stayed here with my family and it was a lovely experience. The property is close to the city but not in the city. So it was serene. The staff is very cordial. Babu and team took good care of our needs and the cook prepared homely food as per our requirement.

The first thing about the stay i would like to say is hospitality. I have been treated so well as if i'm staying at home. I would have never imagined such a beautiful homestay. The managing team were so considerate and took care of all the meals and travels at anytime required. The location of the homestay is amazing along with the beautiful architecture. The rooms were spacious, clean and the washroom was really good. The beautiful garden at front and the view from the window made the stay even more prettier. It is situated in the heart of police bazaar and has so many cafes nearby. I would like to visit it again.

Overall the place is nice. Clean and maintained. I read reviews on food but couldn't understand the issue, so here is the detailed feedback: it's a b&b so they cook after you prepare. Problem is they don't proactively check so it's quite sometime before you get your breakfast secondly portions are useless. Who gives one bread along with omelette. And despite you remind them twice they don't give you butter on the table. First day omelette had very high salt and spices. Our friends leave it but they didn't make a new one even if the first one was thrown. Dinner was ok but slightly overpriced overall bad experience on the food. I wish we would have booked it without breakfast and had breakfast outside. Would definitely recommend you guys to do at least

Well maintained place, centrally located. Rooms are spacious & staff is very friendly & helpful. Food prepared was good & made to order. Perfect place for larger families. All in all a great experience
