We had a terrible experience in the resort, not one guest in the resort apart from us. We had been allotted a tent which was extremely cold and the receptionist did not even check us in and left after leaving the luggage in the room. We immediately booked another hotel and left in ten minutes horrile experience

Excellent stay. Nice location. Food prices are on higher side. Stayed in the tent accommodation, which was well balanced with modern facilities and rustic features. Overall, a nice stay. Road is good. Vehicle can reach upto the resort.

This is the worst property any body would stay the service is pathetic. No breakfast options and that too they serve poor quality food.

The place is absolutely peaceful, and even the tent house feels calm and serene. It has all the necessary amenities, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it if you’re looking to relax in nature and enjoy some quiet time. The only issue we faced was that their power backup wasn’t working at the time (it was under repair, and there was a power cut due to heavy rain. Because of this, we had to take a cold shower and manage charging our phones between power cuts.

We booked a tent and it was worth spending money. The staff was good, the property was great and the food was excellent. My kids also enjoyed every moment there.

We had a peaceful, calm and quiet time at the resort . Just what we wanted. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Yet I have a few suggestions- 1. The swimming pool was nice but few colourful lights in the pool can make it more fun in the evening. 2. Inclusion of more indigenous ethnic food can satisfy the taste buds of guests more. Thank you. 😊

Good location, and one can feel the natural environmental atmosphere. The best place to stay away from pollute cosmopolitan busy city life. Fresh air with plenty of greenery.

Avoid weekdays. Many of the cottages and tents remain empty and as such less attention is given by the staff. The pool is nice and would be having a great time.

The place is beautiful, with hospitable and cordial staff, and best for a trip is when you can enjoy the food. The quality and quantity of food served here is good. I'll suggest a must stay, in-case you are looking for a relaxing stay away from the city crowd. A good place for staycation.

Roinam is an absolutely serene and comfortable resort on the side of umiam lake, which is a big attraction at the outskirts of shillong. The resort provides a good getaway with family with its chef preparing finest of indian cuisine and resort providing a great balance of comfort and nature. Cottages are preferable over tents.

Appreciating the serene location of this property next to umiam lake, it's easy to feel at peace amid-st nature's beauty. The raw, natural ambiance with fireflies dancing around and the calming sound of crickets at night create a tranquil escape. However, while navigating the area is simple and enjoyable, some maintenance updates would enhance the overall experience. Despite this aspect, the picturesque view and peaceful surroundings offer a genuine retreat from everyday chaos. Room service is quick and very responsive, in short excellent. Food taste and quantity is good. Overall a wonderful experience.
