Never book this hotel through makemytrip or directly. They will take your money and then deny you check-in, falsely claiming that local ids are not allowed. This is a scam that seems to particularly target kashmiri people.

A serene gateway in dal lake srinagar

I had the privilege of staying on sikandra palace houseboat in srinagar, and it was an unforgettable experience! the houseboat was beautifully decorated and had a cozy, homely feel to it. The owner was incredibly hospitable and made sure i had everything i needed. The views of the surrounding mountains and lake were simply breathtaking. I loved sipping tea on the deck and watching the sunset over the water. The food was also delicious, with traditional kashmiri dishes prepared with love and care. Staying on the houseboat was like experiencing a little slice of heaven on earth. I was delighted to hear from wasim bhai about the complimentary shikara ride. One incident i would like to highlight. I lost one piece of air-pod headset in the headset. I remembered it while i was leaving srinagar airport and i was about to takeoff. I immediately called wasim bhai and informed me about the situation. He listened to me and the next morning he and his staff tried their best and found it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and serene getaway in dal lake srinagar.

What a lovely experience. Hotel opera inn which we had booked by mm t is value for money. Service staff, room service, reception and resturant staff all are humble and always welcome you with happy smile which makes your day. Transpotation is also very good and pocket friendly spl( shakeel dar) our driver is so humble and nice person having very good knowledge and experience driver make us very comfortable. Reception staff so much helpful they are so nice they upgraded us to super deluxe so we can stay in comfort zone. We stay 7 night's. And feel like a home stay

Not value for money. Daily same routine type breakfast, taste not so good, hotel staff not cooperative. As per make my trip app hotel showing as 4 star, not even given facilities like 3 star hotel

Horrible experience. room was filthy, rotten smell from washroom & water was dirty too. The smell was so bad that I felt sewage water was coming from the washroom. we complained about it but they ignored saying it will pass. food was Average. terrible stay here. only good in photos.
