The houseboat was beautiful and well maintained. The food served was hot, fresh and very tasty. The view from the terrace were breathtaking. Overall we had a very comfortable and memorable stay.

There was no hot water. Staff was not trained. Power was an issue. We have to wait for power to come. To even charge our mobile. Didnt expect this really food was only ok

The houseboat was clean and had good interiors. The room was spacious. The host took care of things well and was welcoming areas of concern is power cut off frequently and food being average. No speciality food, taste was average and could have been hot. Also we had to ask for things like water

It was an awesome experience staying here. This is in nigeen lake which is very quite compared to dal lake. A shikara ride from here to dal lake via golden lake was breathtaking. Food was good and was like homemade. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The houseboat was good. Dinner was good. They can add more veg options to breakfast. The interior of the house oat was really beautiful. And as it was at nigeen lake, the stay was calm and peaceful.

This houseboat located in neegan lake. Hence no crowd near by. You can enjoy the peace. The houseboat is huge with incredible wood carving on it. And have 3-4 rooms. Including dining area, drawing room. The care taker of the houseboat are friendly and respectful. He helped me arranging the cab for local sightseeing and for gulmarg trip. As well at reasonable price. As the flooring is of wood. It sounds little spooky when anyone walks around. Specially at night.

The place was clean, cozy and beautiful. The host cum caretaker ishfaq was helpful and polite. The shikara ride arranged was awesome. The place is nicely heated which is very very important in srinagar, though would suggest you ask the caretaker to light the non electric heater as electricity is a on-off supply in these regions.

Stay was good. Well maintained house boat. The only thing was the location. If u need happening place then go for dal lake but if u need silent calm place than this is for you. Overall awesome stay.

One thing I want to add, whoever review pl mention negative & positives both. I found almost reviews were 4-5 star rated. I went to the property with great expectations. But my expection starts broken as I reached in front of the houseboat. To my surprise, there was no bill board for identification of this boat. Caretaker & shikara person informed me that wind has taken off the board recently. Then once I entered, my expectation further come to halt once the trip advisor/ Google/ MMT photos in the mind was not matching with the real view of boat. Cleanliness below par, sofa cushions at entrance and hall look very old and uncleaned. You can find lot of dust over the artificial flowers and flower pots put for decoration. Then I started searching the things around me to give positive vides & access for access to terrace. And you will not believe that was breaking point, the view of Lake and the breeze flowing around was just mesmerizing. Then I explored further found bathtub in the washroom that is becomeing rare nowadays in 4-5 star properties. Then comes the over hyped & over costly dinner . Good thing about dinner was "it will not let you feel that your are away from home" but that feeling at this much price is not worthy at all. Night was pleasant except the mosquito bites with no power-cut. One positive thing I want to mention is that I loved to find uninterrupted internet & power supply. Kudos to service providers & electricity dept. I love the way how the entry of the houseboat planned through Shikara. No other activity can bring more enjoyment and fulfillment than this Shikara ride back to ghat no. 1 Nageen lake. If this property put in the bracket of 2or 3 star category then I can easily give this property 4-5 star rating. With this 4 star tariff , it will be deception to give higher rating than 3. I hope things will improve in all other houseboats as well before my next visit with my family. All the very best to whole staff, owner & houseboat association to make the trip worthy for the traveller like us .
