An amazing and pleasant stay

Our two-day stay at Lake Victoria Group of Houseboat on the Dal Lake on 12th and 13th October, 2024 was very enjoyable and pleasant. The caretaker of the houseboat, Manzoor Bhai was very hospitable, courteous and very obliging --- ever ready to attend to all our needs. His warmth and helpfulness was more than enough to beat the cold of the Dal Lake. Our son enjoyed his company thoroughly. The breakfasts and dinners were all delicious and right on time. The interior décor of the houseboat’s lounge is aesthetically very pleasing and Kashmiri chic. All standard amenities including hot and cold running water are available in the houseboat

The houseboat was very comfortable to stay in. The carving inside the houseboat was beautiful and very intricate. The views from the deck was magical. The caretaker hamid was very helpful and courteous. The food served was also good.

Our stay at the houseboat was very welcoming and rejuvenating, amazing service by houseboat staff. The room and the staff are too good and helpful. Beautiful serene location, very clean and hygienic, very hospitable owner and staff. I will definitely recommend lake victoria group of house boat to other.

The bathroom was smelly, the room did not have ac. They were asking for money every time we asked them something. They are forcing us to go outside and eat. When we said we wanted to eat in the boat itself, then they charged 500 per person. We have a 1 year old baby so we have given that amount. It is not possible every time to go out and eat.

Awesome place to be in, a must visit, location, rooms, food everything is perfect. The hospitality is to the next level. Special mention of ham-id bhai who was very courteous and humble and took care of everything and made our stay comfortable. Worth every penny you spend for the stay. Highly recommended

The stay was good however there was an issue with hot water. The caretaker was rude. Apart from that the room was comfortable and cozy.

The location of the house boat is good and the manager javed ji is a very caring person to guide us during the stay. Rooms are big and comfortable, furnished with good fittings. Suggest to provide more decorations on front side and deck area to have more pleasant sitting in evening.

It was totally different and amazing experience, the staff of house boat and manager were very professional. House boat was very clean and hygienic, dinner and breakfast were top quality, the view was amazing, my family enjoyed a lot and we felt very relaxed as room was very comfortable. I recommend lake victoria houseboat for staying in srinagar

Its was our first time in houseboat. The owner ashraf was quite helpful and friendly. Had a nice experience. The food was homely and comforting. The location was good. The only thing is the washroom was a bit smelly.

1) the owner was very rude. 2) the houseboat was not clean. 3) lot of restrictions by owner. 4) contact person asked for the tip for the bad service. 5) commute system was very bad.

The boat and the rooms were so warm, clean and comfortable. The staff and owners were supremely nice people and made the stay very familial and made sure that everything was impeccable. Right from entry, food and exit, they took care of everything i will definitely visit again with my family.

Our stay at the houseboat was very welcoming and rejuvenating. The ambience and services are excellent and mr ham-id was very humble and kind and made sure that our stay was comfortable. It was a unique experience staying in the boathouse which makes our trip very memorable.

Location was good. The amenities were average. Good part was they ensured proper heating in a sub zero temperature that ensures comfortable stay. But given the money charged, services like food and other amenities were not up to the mark.
