We had a wonderful stay at w hostels it’s such a warm, welcoming and comfortable place to stay. The view from our room was captivating and i loved the peaceful and serene surroundings. Although the place is located a little away from the main dal gate but if you have convenience then that won’t be a problem. We have enjoyed our stay )

Room were clean washroom was clean. Staff is gud and frndly. Food is delicious. For my next tym as well i ll visit here.

Perfect for bachelors, trekkers. Neat clean, good wifi, canteen for breakfast. Separate lockers for each bed. Good experience overall.

Location is away from attractions and staff behaviour is very bad.

This property is at a diatance from dal lake and there staffs are rude and greedy. We stayed there with no bathroom utilities and when we were stuck at 11 pm in dal lake area when asked the staff to arrange a auto they said it will cost you rs 800 for 6km. The staff simply were of not willing to do anything nor did they ask for tea or breakfast. Extremely awful stay

Good service, good hostel. Average crowd. They shouldn't allow families and children inside a hostel. Otherwise the whole point of hostel culture sort of dies.

Nice new property, little bit away from the the main road. Staffs and owner were good and caring. As my room was lake view, i was happy to see dal lake.

We stayed here in two rooms - the first room for 3 nights, the second room for one night location - 3/5 - the hotel is situated away from the srinagar hotspot, we thought that would be a great point, but since there is huge traffic in the afternoon and evening in srinagar, the distance was not helpful. Plus the mountain view room is not recommended, it faces some buildings. Try to choose the lake view/garden view room. But do not choose the ground floor room, i will come to why. Room size - 4/5 - the room in the first floor was medium size, the one in ground floor was large but there was lots of noise in the ground floor cleanliness and smell - 1/5 - the first floor room was okay, but the one in the ground floor had a very suffocating smell coming from the washroom (it had a commode and an open lid toilet pan which was causing the smell. It was evident after we closed the windows as the weather was cold. Also the carpet of that room was very dusty and caused a damp smell in the room. Facilities and service - 3/5 - the staff were friendly. Some of the lights in the rooms were not functional. The washroom lock was very loose. Food quality - 3/5 - we tried yakhni, butter chicken, roti which were good. The paratha had excess oil, so i would not recommend that. Specialty - the specialty is that they let you book a single bunk bed. So, good for a group of single tourists. Also they provide a friendly environment inside the hotel for tourists to mingle. Things that can be improved - the ground floor room needs renovation so that smell doesn't ooze out of the washroom and the carpet needs cleaning to fix the damp smell. I would suggest visitors to research more before booking. And if you want to book, try to book a lake view room for a better view. And of course don’t book the ground floor room until it’s fixed.

The hotel is located up from the dal lake in small streets. The room did not have any toiletries or even water bottles. There was no kettle, tea bag, coffee etc. The rooms were clean however service was poor. The phone in both rooms did not work. To ask for anything we had to go down two floors

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Whostels Srinagar Near Dal Lake it’s My 1st time in Kashmir and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness by the staff. Their genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. The atmosphere at Whostels was also fantastic. The common areas and Garden were inviting and lively, making it easy to meet and connect with fellow travelers. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall positive experience. Overall, my time at Whostels was nothing short of wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and welcoming place to stay. All staff of the hotel was very good. Well maintained hotel. Location was also very good. Though menu of food was limited but quality of food was good.

The stay was fine, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It's about 5. 7km away from dal lake's main area. If you want a quiet spot, it's good, but if you want to walk around dal lake at night, it's not convenient as it's in a local area where it's not recommended.
