We got room upgrade, thanks to hotel to do needful, location is right near down town and very close to periyar tiger reserve. Restaurant staff and food was good. This was my 2nd stay at this resort, though 1st one was about 10 years ago.

It was a one day trip and we enjoyed the stay. Kids enjoyed the pool. The ambience was nice ! and the climate is also awesome

Telephone was not working, there was no water in the morning. Actually our whole stay was spend by calling reception

Stay next to sanctuary

Great place to stay next to periyar wildlife sanctuary, next to the boating point as well in a walking distance. Room is good and big enough for stay. Food is well made will not give top rated buts above average.

Ambiance- 5 star. Staff courtesy- 5 star. Breakfast spread - 1 star. Tv channels - 70% not working (says it’s need to be charged) - for 10k+ room rent this should not be the case. Ipl start sports is not there, they changed setup box. Again these kind of experience should not be there, for 10k+ charged cottages. Toilet - brush/paste/etc are placed in a news paper cover pouch (looked untidy for my daughter. To mention, staffs are very courteous and ambience is fantastic.

Location is in the main city, which is ok, but expecting more. I have expected it to be in between nature, but was not. The food is just ok. Services are very good.

Food and restaurant ambiance not that great. Atmosphere not lively. Swimming pool doesn’t have clean water. Room size and facilities are good.

Resort is well maintained, clean and calm environment. Special mention to the staffs for being polite, active and responsive. Restaurant food is slightly expensive but quality and taste wise it’s great. Rooms were spacious and well maintained. Kudos to the entire team of people. Had a wonderful stay

We stayed for two nights at this property and the experience was great. - staff is very courteous, no complaints - lush green property. They have very clearly covered all building via green vegetation. Definitely adds to feel good factor - really appreciate complementary evening tea and snacks setup by the pool - masseuse is trained and we'll exp. - price point at which this property is offered is good. Some considerations that property can focus on - adding steam room in spa facilities i would highly recommend this property.

Stayed with family after booking through 'make my trip. Outstanding natural environment and good house keeping. The resort has great potential to be the best in the area. But the team at the ground is not motivated enough to take the resort to the next level. May be, the top management, which is into other multiple profitable business areas, is least interested. It is better to outsource this resort to any other hospitality companies to run. For the house keeping dept, i would give a 10/10. But for f&b, it would be 3/10. The team needs to be trained well. Everyone is nice and friendly. However, they do not know how to create a dish, authentically, that is in the menu. Out of 100 customers, 95 will not react or write a review. Only a few will take time to write a critical review. This is only for improvement. We would like to come and stay here again. That's why these suggestions are given sincerely.

The hotel has a nice vibe, but it is too expensive. A fair price for the room we stayed at would be rs. 3500 but we paid a lot more. The indian food via the restaurant is good, the staff is helpful, the activities room is quite depressing, and the hotel is located within walking distance of the periyar tiger reserve entrance. You have to get tickets to enter the reserve from the eco-tourism lodge nearby (walking distance, you cannot get them directly from the hotel. There are also places nearby where you can watch a kalaripayattu performance which is quite good. Happy with my trip, unhappy with the price of the rooms.
