Please avoid staying in this hotel, as they only have 2 lights in room, filthy blankets (they don’t provide white linen, no geyser, impolite and rude staff.

Good staff make all d difference.

Very nice people & staff. Very coprative. My son has to go early for some competition. They arranged breakfast in morning and also taste was good. Neat and clean room with good ac. Cabs ola uber also available at almost 2 minutes waiting time. Nearby banks and some good bakery, chat and restaurants. I am continuing same room for 1 more day.

Location is good. Staff behavior not upto the mark. No drinking water provided. I travel-led for pilgrimage reached at 7 am and asked for early checkin but didn't replied positively. As-well as late departure according to train timings. Morning tea issue and to keep insulin, refrigerator not available. I don't suggest anyone for stay.

Location wise it’s a good property, but the room infra is decade old with poor furnitures and inferior washroom.

we requested early checkin. manager at reception also said that room are vaccant but , He wants 500rs for early checkin and for which he has not given any bill , when i asked for bill . he denied to give bill. he put 500rs in his pocket. Hence its a matter of concern and should be pritiozed.

This trip is good for those who want to save money. If you are nice with the staff they will attend you more nicely. But the infrastructure of gautam hotel varanasi was not updated.

Rude owner and staff. No water bottles given though charged. After 5 follow ups given 2 200ml bottles given. Seriously this what is complementary for 3 adults! bathroom was shabby. Blankets were dirty. Food was good but he will come for payment before you can finish the food. Seems someone ran way by not paying 20 rs for a tea. Good connectivity from outside of the hotel. Near to market area. No wifi password shared

Pathetic. Don't ever book in this hotel. There's not one good thing about this hotel. Old dull ambience, dirty linen. Hot water will come after one full bucket of water to be wasted. Ac in one room cannot be controlled either by remote or manually just one full speed. Cook, bell boy, delivery, housekeeping all done by limited people hance delay in service. Carpet is actually some gray packing material and dirty. Reception staff curt and unfriendly. No kettle or self service for tea cofee. Kitchen opens at 7 am. So if you want to go to temple at say 5 or 6 you can't even have a tea and cofee and go. Kitchen is the dirtiest kitchen i have ever seen

Gautam hotel is very old hotel of varanasi. It is typical a two star hotel where there are few things which you need to keep in mind before stay: 1) no toiletries ( you have to bring your bathing soap shampoo etc) 2) hot bathing water limited availability( as no geyser in bathroom ) 3) extra mattress even after paying is of very low thickness ( 2 inch ) 4) no complimentary packages drinking water bottle( either you buy packaged water from hotel or else they give you ro water in jugs) 5) check in check out time is 12 noon so if you reach varanasi before time you have to wait till 1 pm to get the rooms. 6) cleanliness is good and you won't find dust, cobs, dirt etc. 7) hotel is suitable for families, business stay both. 8) location of hotel is in city so commuting is easy.

No proper service, no wifi. Even tv was not working. Electrician forced me to get his work done. Tv electrician was very rude. Moreover, no proper breakfast. Only 1 item was there. It was my mistake to choose this hotel. Very bad experience.

The property location is very good, it's near to all the main visiting places in varanasi. The room was clean and tidy at check in time and the staff was supportive although room service was little delayed due to shortage of staft. I will recommend this hotel to all the tourists visiting varanasi. Overall stay was good, i will give 7. 5/10.

The hotel is very old and not maintained, there is a restaurant in the amenity but only kitchen available and if you included breakfast then you can only order puri sabzi or paratha as there is no buffet system and you will have to pay for extras. Will have to be given, mattress condition you can see in guest photo. I will not recommend for this hotel but the rest is your choice.
