we stayed here with my 3friends and there family for one night. the worst experience i have ever had. when i arrived at the heritage staffs are drinking alcohol on public area they‘re look like real gundas and we reported to the owner babu the he said it's okay don't worry, what a irresponsible reply. the rooms are shown in the photos are different and they’re providing different room, then we upgrade the room with extra charge still the rooms are dirty and damaged the beds are stinky. the staffs are very rude and not acceptable at all. restaurent is rated 0.5 star dirty and and they charged 5star prices. we don’t recomended to anyone especially for family and couples. there is no complimentery tooth brush and paste. again i said worst experience i have ever had.

Self, wife and one year old kid had a two day stay. It was an ethereal experience mainly because of the ambience and the location of the resort which was right on the beach. The staff were friendly and very helpful (even with requirements of the baby. The food is homely and sea food is fresh. Travel facilities like rickshaw and taxi are booked by the staff. Currently some construction work is going on in few blocks, still the above mentioned aspects make the place worth staying. The price is also decent.

The property showed a room better in location than what we booked ( they said like that) and collected additional rs. 2000.

Terrible Stay

Food was not taken from there as dining area found unhygienic.
There was no security and boundary wall. Covid protocol were not at all complied. Stray dogs and cats were roaming inside premises. Receptionist was not attending call. There was no land phone kept inside room.

Too Bad

They showed one room. And when we reached there the hotel guy showed one dirty room and he pressured to take a cottage which worth extra cash. And after we booked that cottage, the cottage condition was too bad not for us but also for the other guests who booked the cottage. The cottage cleanliness is only average. Hair of previous guests were still present in the bed. The cottage door was not tight enough. The outside people can see through the gap. The electric supply gets failed time to time. Ac is not working properly. Altogether the hotel and staff were not up to the mark.

Premium rooms were given to us. It was nicely located just on the beach.
It was upto the mark. The staff took adequate care in view of covid19 pandemic.

The hospitality by the owner and staff was excellent and felt like home. The property is right in front of the beach and it has a amazing view of the arabian sea. Special mention to the awesome decilious food we had at the resort, especially the crab roast. This is the only resort in varkala which is on the beach. We open our doors to the sea view and enter the beach. Looking forward to visit again with all my family members for a get together. Special thanks to mr. Babu (owner) for making our stay at the resort special. The staff members (mr. Sunny) were always courteous and helpful.

We were advised by friends not to choose there, it's just that entrance area that is worth but as I was moved by the reviews and catchy photos we booked there. Service was horrible, had to wait about 20 minutes for check-in. The guy entrusted a girl with our check-in. She just went off (maybe her duty time was over) entrusting another lady. She passed it to a man. Rooms were merely average. AC had no remote control. On asking, I got reply that its like that, nobody has ever complained regarding AC. To my surprise that lady added that AC auto adjust to atmospheric temperature. It's a minimum courtesy to apologize for inadequacies instead she was putting up jargon like AC auto adjust. We had stayed at Varkala two times before. This one was overrated but as I did ignore the warning, there is high chance that people get deceived watching the snaps they post.

Heavenly ambiance. There is access to the private beach where you can have fun to the fullest. Although the room is small, surrounding is great so that we don't feel much time in the room.

Nice location, air conditioner doesn't have a remote controller, hot water was not available, private beach is there to enjoy the sea. Location is very calm and quite. Restaurant is much expensive and food quality is not that much as we expected. It was an average stay.

Awesome location on beach, though we requested they provided us a sea view room. Staffs are very friendly, food was awesome, tasty, entertainment arrangements are good and the only minus is room cleanliness and maintenance.

The resort has a beach front. And I guess its the only resort in Varkala with a good beach frontage. Rooms are excellent spacious and washrooms are clean and spacious as well.
