It's a grand 6 room banglow in the middle of tea plantations, but not very far from the main road. Rooms are spacious, decorated with wooden furniture of olden times. Very good location for photo shoots, family get together etc. Not a crowded place. Can enjoy self-time and beautiful nature. Food was average, not specially commendable.

The property is not the one shown in the listing. There are two properties in wayanad for parrisons which are 3 kms away. This is not mentioned in the listing. The pictures of the common area and swimming pool is from the heritage property. The listing clearly mentions that there is swimming pool and amenities in the campus but you have to drive 3 km in your own vehicle and then use the facility.

We booked via mm t based on ratings and reviews. We were not disappointed at all. Place is a big bungalow having 6 rooms. Place is very quiet with no population around. The rooms are massive. We booked heritage room. It has ac, huge bathroom and lots of furniture. Food is like home made food mostly kerala dishes. Adequate parking is there. Kids play area has good. Swimming pool is big and clean. No bar available so carry your drinks. Overall very good service and stay. I would recommend it for sure.

Rooms, property, service, everything was excellent. The one thing that can be improved is the buffet spread, which i believe was not matching their own standards in other departments. But overall, a wonderful stay, totally loved it

Excellent location and friendly staffs. Good to walk around the huge property. There are enough activities to keep you engaged and it’s also a good place to relax. Breakfast and dinner included. Lunch - 850 per person and tea - 70. I felt this is expensive but the food tasted good.

We stayed in the boutique bunglow. We were 3 families and went for a couple of days. It was an amazing property. We had our privacy yet everything was available. The staff was really sweet and helpful. The only thing we struggled was the route to reach there. The roads are good but check with the manager on the exact location. There is a chance to get confused and it's very difficult to turn the vehicles since it's in the middle of tea plantations. Overall a wonderful stay, and we would love to visit again.

The stay at prisons was excellent. Very good hospitality and home-cooked food was served. Very good staff to take care. What can be better: route signage's to reach the place. Estate tour or visit to tea factory.

We loved the property, it’s surrounded by best of view nature can offer, though the other accommodations (heritage) is more maintained than the boutique bungalow which was not clear while making the reservation since we thought it’s a different category available in the same accommodation

Stayed with family on a weekend away from the chaos of bangalore life and traffic. Nestled inside a beautiful tea estate located on the top of the estate. Well maintained heritage property with excellent amenities including pool, gym, sauna and a big fish pond right next to open dining area. Very sumptuous local cuisine soulfully served. Courteous staff and a well informed host to receive you, brief you regarding the property and help you out. Must stay as a family away from daily chaos.

It’s a 4800 acres of magical land with greenery all over. We stayed in boutique bungalow which has 4 big rooms. The housekeeper and the cook were top class. They ask preference for food although it’s supposed to be a fixed meal. Complete privacy, request accommodating staff, great location. Would like to come back again.

Thalopya bungalow is a heritage building more than 100 years aged. Having 6 rooms with attached kitchen. The staff is very cooperative and well trained one. Especially mr. Binay and his team response is very prompt. I stayed with my family for 2 days and enjoyed a lot. Surely recommending for families and friends.

The place is neat and well maintained and gives you a feel of staying in an old british style property. The food is tasty and prepared in a homely style. Some of the drawbacks were, there were frequent power cuts and the recreation area was not usable on one of the days because of the power cut. The sauna in the property was broken and we couldn't use it. The staff are kind and hospitable. Overall i liked my stay, but i hope they work on keeping things available for the guests. Yes.
