It's a lodge not a hotel. Not well maintained. Old fungus furniture, unclean washrooms, ashtrays, towels and bed sheets, broken switchboards and unwanted holes, unclean corners. No toiletries available either. You don't feel like to keep you on the toilet when you look at the washroom. It's terrible to stay even an hour in the stinking building. Food is unavailable and you have to get from nearby restaurants only. The lift is another chaos. It jerks when we step i per day

Rooms are good and with safety. Getting 10% discounts on all the sight views if we inform the hotel name. Room rent is little bet higher. Good swimming pool.

Emerald dove, yelagiri. Pros: 1. Location: it might be the first resort/hotel when you reach yelagiri from ambur/vaniyambadi. So easy to locate it. 2. Food: good food & with an average variety of them. 3. Rooms: spacious ones with footwear stand, good mirror, dressing cupboard, queen bed, chairs & table. 4. Water: water is good & you can refill anytime 5. Staff: staff are approachable & polite. 6. The swimming pool is there, however it's not even average size, but we can engage the kids in there. 7. Few kids engaging things are like, slide, swing & sea saw. Indoor games are also there. They do camp fire also. 8. Lot of parking space though it's open area, so you won't worry even in peak season. 9. All the main tourist attractions are walkable from the hotel. 10. Restaurants: veg & non veg hotels are nearby. Cons: 1. Management needs to be effective to leverage the manpower during peak season, as we could see many staff, but they don't know how to prioritise the activities. 2. With the peak season cost, they can add few things in the room. They do provide soap & shampoo, but at the peak season cost, they can add brushes, paste & coconut oil being hill stations. 3. The ground floor rooms are spacious but we could not open the windows as it's very close to the compound wall & anybody can cross the windows at any time. So better avoid accepting the ground floor or management needs to alter their design. Recommendation: very much recommended to stay during week days & non peak week ends for people who don't feel comfortable with a large crowd. Otherwise it's a nice hotel. Personal suggestions: though we pay for our stay & food, i request all the tourists don't damage or miss handling the properties over there, it will be loss for them & also it's loss for the next set of tourists also. Additionally, pols consider reusing the plastic bottles & things. Enjoy nature without spoiling it.

There is lack of facilities should check before you checkin the rooms price also over rated there are another rooms which are available with good facilities my room doesn’t have even lock when you entered inside theree is no lock and cleaning ialso not properly no door matt windows are not opening tv not working i just laughed myself after seeing all this in single room

The location is very pleasant, it's close to the ghat section. Food was very nice. May b due to corona and lock-down the maintenance of the property is not that great but manageable. Rest room cupboard doors were not in good shape and lot's of wear and tear. Swimming pool was also not that clean but ok. No nuisance place. Good staff members. Fast in room services. Overall a good experience.

The hotel was not clean or as shown in pictures. There was hair all over the bed and pillows. There was a peculiar smell in the room as well.

Stayed with family with my wife, 9 year old and 2 year old kid. Booked for 3 and the bed is enough but not oversize bed. It is not a spring bed. Roos are neat and clean. Have a lift,. Swimming pool. Parking is outside the compound but very close. Entertainment with sufficient WIFI, indoor games including pool table and table tennis.

The property is located right on the main road and in the beginning of the main town ! The food was good but the overall service is not that great. they don’t have enough staff too to do timely service. property is not well maintained. many a things are broken in bathroom or does not work !! Since there are not many choices, I ended up booking this hotel !

I am not satisfied with the money what i paid to the property. Rooms were not clean, smelly and uncleaned toilet facilities. Friendly staffs but need to improve cleaning. No room spray and no hot water heater for individual rooms. So the initial stage user run out the ghyser water from the over head tank.

Hotel is located at entrance of yelagiri hill top area. Resort is small and good. Rooms are spacious, ac, hot water facility is available. Hotel serves vegetarian food and for non vegetarian food you need to visit restaurant beside the hotel. It is 1km to boat house and overall it was a good stay at emerald dove. I recommend this hotel
