They should change the way to connect to the wifi
john f.friendsSep 04, 2024 The property and staff were great but transportation into the nearby town of Scilla was not easy - no local cab service so one had to arrange taxi service from the nearest city and it was expensive and cumbersome. The area is GORGEOUS
robert.family_with_childrenJul 10, 2024 Unfortunately we were not able to get to the property until late in the evening but the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was air conditioned well appointed. The property is itself is stunning and very well maintained. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet in the restaurant by the pool with a fantastic view of Sicily.
This location was perfect for our family, we had wedding events in the area and were close to all of them. Then in our downtime we spent by the pool.

We all selected the same room options when booking and paid the same price, but some people were in a new and modern building while we were in a dark, much older building with faded carpets, beds that were very hard and we were only given 1 thin pillow. I requested additional pillows, however they were never provided. That being said, the pool and the restaurant were great. Had we been in the other building, our experience would have been much better.

Spent over $200 / night no robes, towels poor quality, furniture needs updating, breakfast average. Location is wonderful.
A beautiful spa location overlooking the ocean.
The concierge was very helpful. She arranged for a very nice taxi driver who showed us around Reggio. The food at the restaurant was beautiful and the staff was able to explain, in English, what was being served. The hotel rooms are spread out on the property but they do have golf carts with staff to assist as necessary. There were edible figs on fig trees (August). Wow.

If you are going to stay in this city... this should be the only place you stay! Resort and grounds are beautiful. Pool is AMAZING! Breakfast plentiful and delicious.
Might be considered pricy but definitely worth it.
Hotel was great. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Half the staff had the concept of customer service and the other half didn't, however, we found this is common throughout the south of Italy. Once you are at the resort you are unable to walk to any other location so you are committed to either drive or taxi to other locations. On site food was pricy for what it was and had no ambience. Most guests appeared locals rather than international which made sense for weekend getaways.
It was off season and we expected it to be quiet. It was so peaceful. I truly like it because the staff would always ask if we needed anything and greeted us with a smile from the maid to the front desk. Views were gorgeous at this hotel. Can't wait to go back.
Beautiful view , pretty grounds but would noagain
Not easy to find. Only the desk person speaks English. It lpoks to be more for locals. We drove 30 minutes after checking out then realized we never got our passports back. It is required for the hotels to copy the document info. And hold for 24 hours. So be sure to get them back. Of course we drive back to get them. Their reason was . They has them in the wrong room box.
Another case of a 5 star resort hotel that is tired. Maintenance issues such as painting and/or varnishing of outdoor furniture has not been addressed for a couple of years. Rubber seals on doors are falling off.
Good hotel and spa marred by poor reception
A resort spa hotel with a fabulous view over the Straits of Messina. Almost deserted when we visited in mid May. Excellent restaurant with friendly staff and superb food. Reception not so good with staff who were unwelcoming and made no effort either to welcome us or to explain the complex layout of the large resort.

Location sterminata tanto che sarebbe utile una mappa per orientarsi…stupefacente la piscina che affaccia sullo stretto di Messina. Ottima accoglienza e pulizia eccellente, ristorante con ottima cucina.
