One of the finest stays we had in langkawi, their rooms were very clean and well maintained and they had all the basic amenities. Service was very good and more importantly we had tons of privacy for our honeymoon, security was very good, the resort has a nice swimming pool very near to the beach overlooking the sea and our rooms were also sea view rooms with great ambience and excellent view. Food was also amazing we had some of their salad and seafood which was pretty good, they org-anise candle light dinners and dinner in the middle of the sea which was also very good.

Ombak villa is a beautiful property with a scenic swimming pool view, lush green gardens, and spacious rooms. However, for the price point, the breakfast quality and the options provided are very limited and below average. Aside from the food, we overall enjoyed our stay at ombak villa.

The stay was amazingly beautiful with a rustic feel. In was right in front of the beach and good place sit and relax, a very clean swimming pool right in front of the beach and a amazing breakfast

Amazing experience and beautiful view. Breakfast was good, some indian breakfast items could be added. Staff was very cooperative. The only drawback is it is far from city centre.

Good property with some excep

Great - room, pool and breakfast and even better views. However the villas lacked a bit of maintenance and looked old as these are wooden. And then there's also bat infestation and foul smell (at places. Which almost ruined our stay as we had returned midnight after a long day, apparently one of them slipped into the room when we requested house keeping to clean the room. Hotel staff was courteous enough to change the room in the middle of the night but it wasn't a pleasing experience overall.

Ombak villa is value for money

Ombak villa is a great option and value for money coz of 1. Location: proximity to airport, nice restaurants and the beautiful scenic setup with private lagoon beach 2. Neat and tidy rooms with all amenities 3. Friendly staff the only area of concern especially for vegetariana could be the very limited buffet menu options for the breakfast

The hotel is nice, the location is also very good but it needs improvement in front of staff behaviour & attitude, food quality and variety also needs upgradation. Air conditioner was not working in our room. We have to call maintenance thrice to service the same.

The resort is great and the staff is also very supportive. The rooms are big, spacious and clean but do not have a direct sea view. The view of the sea from the hotel is very beautiful and you can relax in the pool in the evening.

Terrible Stay

The hotel staff is warm and friendly. But, the facilities are not great! they do not offer water and you will have to refill water from your nearest ro system for which you will have to go to different floor! imagine if you needed water at night! you'll have to climb down a flight of stairs and fill your own bottle yourself! after 11 pm they stop buggy service and god forbid your room is far! you'll have to walk all the way! most important, you will book an ocean view room, but they will give you garden view. I was told ocean view is not for every room, some rooms only and since we wanted room little early they gave us garden view. I also asked whether this is because of early request but they clarified that the room i've been given is indeed categorised as ocean view also, but the view is blocked! some rooms in that category have the view still open! it's fine, people are okay but you'll have to adjust quite a bit for that! so book at your own judgement!

No cooperation from staff. Must not visit by any chance. Its a horrible experience. Its not a beach property. All smug is spread everywhere. Out of the town. They are just fooling everyone. Langkawi has more very good properties. We paid for 3 nights but stayed here for 5 hours and checked out without getting any refund. Just because its a spam not a place to spend vacations. So stay away from them.

Awesome property along the waters

This was an amazing property with extremely good service. Awesome infinity pool, clean water. Buggy available for traveling to rooms. Plenty of drinking water. Although the options for vegetarians were less but no regret. The staff was very courteous. Close to the airport. It's wise to pick a self driven car from the airport itself.

Bad smell bathroom

The bathroom at the villas of the sea side were very bad stinky. Otherwise, the rooms and view was perfect 10 on 10 for that. But the bathroom odor must be improved.

Good stay but location is far from centre

The location is quite isolated from the beach area and not happening. If you are find of quite isolated place go for it. Else recommend hotel near cenang beach. Hotel room is very nice and breakfast was good.

No great facilities

We stayed at Langkawi for 7 nights totally and in Ombak Villa for 1 night. Paying 150 dollars for one night at this Villa was not Worth it at all. The rooms were great and very comfortable but the resort does not have any activities within itself. The food at the restaurants was very average and suggest to move Around to Cenang Beach for lunch/dinner.

Loved the property and the location. Anyone looking for a little getaway from the hustle and noise this is the property. But beware from the not so courteous staff and their strict policy, they don’t take notice of your request or problem for that matter they will consider check-out if it’s past 12:00 hours and slow housekeeping service for that matter.
Loved the location and our room. But as per the courteous and generosity I did not like how the staff at the reception treated us. Though we were informed for the check-out time which is 12:00 hours as per them and check-in time at 14:00 hours. It was 12:15 hours when I called the reception requesting for late check-out as I got late due to some urgent work and had to pack and catch my flight. The staff replied me with a quite clear answer that they cannot do anything about it and I have exceeded my time and could face the consequences if I don’t check-out in time. I have never experienced such behavior or hospitality with any 5 star or good hotel I have ever stayed in. I think they really need to filter their policy and be a little more courteous and understanding with their customers.

The rooms here were clean and spacious. The view from the rooms is something you would fall in love with. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. Good service and excellent breakfast. If you are looking to shop, Kuah shopping area is a 30 - 40 mins journey from the hotel.
