Commercial hotel near beach, easy to reach, all amenities smaller roooms. Near to beach but you cant access. Nothing touristy about it

The room has a decent view on the ocean, walking distance to the beach. Authentic south indian vegetarian food at a walking distance as well
the room was large enough and very clean. Staff very courteous.

It was booked for a family of three. It was a triple deluxe family room. Rooms are ok with one double and one single bed. They provide a kettle with a limited supply of sugar and tea. Water bottles provided are of 500 ml instead of one litre. Sri lanka is hot and if one requires more water, you have to go yourself with a jug to fetch water from the dining area! food options are ok and limited for breakfast. The hotel lacks professional behaviour. It is good if one wants to spend a night.

Hotel location - better connectivity to all places. Breakfast - too good. Variety of menu and excellent service. Many other south indian restaurants nearby. Good hygiene and safety standards followed.

It was an excellent stay! The food was excellent and the staff was superb! There was a staff member who was particularly helpful, accommodating and shared his knowledge about Sri Lanka with us. Unfortunately I did not get his name but it appeared he assisted the front desk and also carried our luggage to our room. Miss Shashsa at front desk was superb, she was so polite and pretty that it was more comfortable our stay. Fairview Hotel is a package I can say in terms of location, staff, food everything. Any future plan of Colombo yes I will check in with Fair View Hotel only.
