Stayed for two nights. It’s an amazing property and extremely generous staff. Any requests made were promptly adhered to. From a lovely breakfast spread, to a ton of amenities, everything was on point. Would highly recommend!

I have stayed at this hotel for 1 night during my trip to nuwara eliya. Hotel is very beautiful and nice ambiance. Room was big with heater which is essential in cold weather. Service is little slow since i had to call to get luggage delivered in the room. Buffet dinner and breakfast was good with lots of options. Overall good stay.

Check in took a lot of time as they dint have clarity of booking from mmt. Hotel location is good and food is decent if you are a vegetarian.

This property is centrally located, between golf course and racecourse, please note that alike most hotels in Nuwara Eliya this hotel too does not have air-conditioning, mainly because of cool to cold weather, there's no ventilation in the room hence one needs to keep windows slightly open, room is basic, 4 white walls, no painting or other colours but it's neat and clean, breakfast is identical every morning, for Jain's it has 2 choices i.e. Dosa or Idly, staff is courteous but lacks warmth and friendliness, Jain's please do no attempt to dine here, food was awful and roti's were more like Khakhras, note to management, there's lots of scope for improvement so that guests get value for money.

Claimed by many to be one of the best hotels in Nuwara Eliya, the sun has set on Araliya like it did with the British Raj. The hotel is growing old at an alarming pace. The pool was generally closed, the wine bar empty, gyms never had a trainer, etc. Good tudor architecture and fantastic placement in the city if your a tourist- near to most city center things.
