Seeburg Hotel

We booked Hotel Seeburg lake view room, online through MakeMyTrip after going through reviews. The Seeburg Hotel is expensive from Indian Point of view, but Switzerland is expensive for everyone, I suppose. The key factor while booking was lovely location of Lake Luzern along with connectivity with city centre. Well, we reached Seeburg Hotel around 10.30 AM using Bus number 24 from Lucerne Train Station. Buses are very comfortable and convenient with space for baggage in the middle and display of next station. Bus stop is just in front of Hotel Seeburg. Bus service is frequent and takes 10 minutes from Lucerne Station to Hotel. Location of the Seeburg Hotel is lovely just in front of Lake Lucerne. Our Seeburg Hotel room was not yet ready for check-in official check-in time in Switzerland is 2 PM. Staff at reception was always very courteous and helpful. We completed check-in formalities within 5 minutes. We left our baggage at Seeburg Hotel's front desk and moved out. In the evening our room was ready with our baggage moved therein. Entry in the room was most pleasing with the Wonderful room of Lake Lucerne and Mount Pilatus. One can sit in balcony and enjoy for hours. Room size is reasonable with cozy comfortable bed. Bathroom was small but very neat and clean. Room was provided with tea and coffee maker with required supplies and a hair dryer. Room does not have AC but weather was good, so no issues on that count. Free WiFi connectivity is a plus. Provision of a microwave will make it even better. Breakfast was part of our plan. Breakfast was having limited choice, more so for us being vegetarian. Still we found it okay with fruits, toast, croissants, corn flakes, juice, yogurt etc. Staff in the restaurant is courteous. Apart from sitting and enjoying, I used Seeburg Hotel balcony for clicking some photos. Overall our 5 days stay was very comfortable with wonderful views of Lake Lucerne. Room tip- Lake view room, even at additional cost.

The lake facing rooms give an amazing view. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The room rent paid is covered by the views only. The reception is very cheerful and polite. You can take an umbrella from the Seeburg Hotel if it is raining 20 CHF deposit refundable. This is a very thoughtful gesture. The Seeburg Hotel is very near Lucerne station. Regular bus service 15 minutes frequency- spacious bus takes you to Lucerne station in 10 minutes. If you buy a daily tram ticket for 8 CHF you can travel throughout the day, the tickets are available in the Seeburg Hotel. You can also choose to walk around the lake to the station 30 minutes. The rate quoted by MakeMyTrip was very attractive included breakfast and taxes. Since many Indians stay in this Seeburg Hotel some more vegetarian options may be provided at breakfast.

It is totally worth staying at this Seeburg Hotel. Amazing view from the balcony. Bus stand is at just two minutes walking distance. You can take bus number 24 to reach the center of the city and railway station which takes approximately ten minutes to reach. With quick bus service it is very convenient. However, they should do some change in the menu everyday, having the same breakfast everyday was little boring.

Reached on 30th August. Found the room and bathroom a bit too small and the night was uncomfortable as it was very warm and if one opened the windows there were mosquitoes. Next day we were given 2 fans with mosquito repellent and things became better. And then it rained and the weather became nice. Excellent location, easy accessibility, good staff and food. Came back on the 2nd Sept.

Excellent views of lake Lucerne. Good Seeburg Hotel - 3 star. Good breakfast. Overall 3. 5/5. Receptionist was very helpful. We needed chargers for our cellphone (European Sockets) they provided at a refundable 20 CHF deposit. You can walk down and catch a boat ride. Bus stop is right outside the Seeburg Hotel. Seeburg Hotel stop, Bus no. 21 every 15 min is an added advantage.

One among the 'best value for money' Seeburg Hotel I have stayed in Europe. Location, food, service, cleanliness, facilities etc are all really good. Special thanks to Mr Lukas at reception for his kindness, patience to explain me every damn trivial things. In Luzern, I could not have asked for better place to stay. Would love to stay again. Thanks.

The Seeburg Hotel property is really nice and vast which appears like a castle place. The Seeburg Hotel staff is very helpful. Though being vegetarian we did not have much option to choose from buffet breakfast, still the quality and taste was very nice. All in all a good place to stay in Lucerne specially if you want to enjoy the scenic lake view.

On of the finest Seeburg Hotel in Lucerne. Top line hospitality being offered by all their courteous staff. Pinned right in front of beautiful lake with pan-aromatic views. The food quality was also very good, though for Asian Veggies we were short of much option. But whatever was provided was of perfect quality and taste. Stay here was Simply.

Great Seeburg Hotel for lake side view and public transportation. They arranged a lake facing room for us without charging extra. The view was heavenly. Bus has an dedicated station named after the Seeburg Hotel. They serve good breakfast. Clean and tidy ( though in Switzerland everything is neat and clean ) Value for money. Go for it.

Room was good, the lake facing was the cherry over cake. Hotel Seeburg is actually a stop for bus no. 24. Bus no. 24 from Lucerne station reaches the Seeburg Hotel in 10mins and the frequency is almost every 15mins. On its way you can see the famous bridge and the transport museum. Above all the lake view from the room is ecstatic.

The breakfasts were same everyday and didn't have spread to our expectations. The staff at the reception were extremely helpful and they really made our visits in and out of town very very efficient. Our special thanks to the lady at the reception on our day of arrival. She went out of ways to guide us for our excursions.

Superb view from Seeburg Hotel room. Very clean rooms. Very courteous staff. Excellent breakfast spread. Very close from the station direct bus number 24. I am not able to rate the above options not getting selected, however everything was excellent location, cleanness, food etc.

Hotel seeburg is 10 minutes from lucerne railway station though it's easily accessible through bus. We had a very pleasant stay with an excellent lakeview from our room. The breakfast is average over here though the ambience is very relaxing and lively.

Breakfast was excellent, the view of the lake from our room was phenomenal. A bus stop right outside will take to the station (or to other places in Lucern). Overall, this was a very good place to stay.

I was given a lake facing room. The view was awesome from the balcony. The staff was very friendly. Bus stop was just outside the Seeburg Hotel, which made commutation very easy. I would definitely recommend to choose this Seeburg Hotel. Food was also very good.

Got free upgrade and hence the best lake view room. People at reception were very nice. Perfect stay. Good value for money. Will recommend the Seeburg Hotel for a perfect lake view stay. Lake is across the street.

Far off from main station. Taxi charges 25chf. Bus number 24 goes. But well worth it. Wonderful location. Book early to get good rates. Good size rooms and great breakfast. Front desk managers are very courteous and helpful. We would recommend surely.

Excellent room with no room service and limited facilities.

We stayed at this Seeburg Hotel for 2 days - decided based on the location of Seeburg Hotel from the main train station. It has a direct bus from the station and stops right in front. Had a great stay - but no coffee maker in room. Not many restaurants around. Hotel staff were very helpful.

Everything was perfect. The staff was very co-operative and helpful. The stay could have been better if there were some Indian channels, bollywood music channels or programmes for kids on television. The view was excellent.

Good lake view and mountains. Staff is well mannered and very helpful. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Good point is Hotel Seeburg is listed in stopover stations in all city buses travel across the city so very convenient. All thumbs up to the Seeburg Hotel and staff.

Very nice place. Excellent location. Very close to bus stop. Very close to the city but away from the city noise. You will love the stay. We did not take a taxi always traveled around by public transport. Swiss travel pass works wonder. Beautiful view of the lake. Loved my stay.

Brilliant Seeburg Hotel. Excellent service. Value for money. Great lake view rooms. 5th floor. Complimentary breakfast was good. Stayed 2 days and the room service was good. Service and hospitality was top notch. Recommended highly.

We had a forest view however they upgraded us to Lake view. Most important and good part is that the lake view from Seeburg Hotel room is breathtaking. Breakfast is good, cannot comment on lunch or dinner. Transport is good - take Bus 24 to station.

Very warm and helpful staff. The location of the Seeburg Hotel is superb. The rooms were a bit small but clean. The breakfast was also very decent. They have their own car park and is easily accessible by bus also. It has an excellent view of the lake from the rooms as well as the dining area.

Hotel Seeburg has got an excellent lake view with good facilities, courteous and helpful staff. The rooms are good in size with big French windows and have clean toilets and comfy beds and it is 15 mins by bus from Luzern train station.

Staff was at their best and service provided was excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much. Food at the Seeburg Hotel was of International standard. We hope to visit Lucerne once again in the future and would definitely like to be at this Seeburg Hotel once again.
