Friendly staff....but....
Hotel was dated but the rooms were clean. Overpowering smell of cheap cleaning products, but at least clean. Though clean the bathroom walls looked like there'd been some serious wall damage going down . Glassblock insets in the bathroom area were frankly very creepy.The location was difficult to access and the parking lots were kind of scary and seemed to attract random vagrants.

For a one night stop for business it is not a bad place to stay.

The property is older but the management has done their best to keep it clean. I had seen a lot of negative reviews prior to our stay so I was a little weary but I was pleasantly surprised with our stay.
Stay was great just looked sketchy since they had lots of temporary fences within the area.

This location is a bit scary. There are homeless people in the parking lot at night. It is very dark and the property set in the back of another parking lot. The staff was nice and check in was easy. The property itself was very run down and old. The sheets were stained , I slept in the chair after I found and killed baby roaches at least six of them that were crawling on the nightstand. Clearly there was a nest in the room. I also saw roaches crawling up and down the wall the tv was mounted on. So I wheeled my chair into the vanity area and covered myself with my extra clothes I had packed. Worst night sleep ever. The front desk said I should have told them and they would have given me a new room, let’s be honest here if there are roaches in that room they have them everywhere.
Convenient and clean place to stay
There was one lady only who served breakfast and was also housekeeping. She was going back-and-forth, which is very unsanitary. I discovered this after I received my breakfast.I wouldn't have gotten breakfast if I'd known.
Nice cheap, breakfast was pretty good and the room was nice. Only flaw was the area but the hotel can’t really control that. They do kick them out tho if in the lobby or up to no good. I Had a nice car and no one messed with it

This place was a dump, I would not reccommend it to anyone, If I was not exhausted from my trip and it wasn't a 110 degrees outside or 6pm at night, I would have stayed somewhere else. This was not your typical Quality Inn. I'm surprised, it wasn't condemned. The Staff was rude, said I could leave if I wanted, Breakfast was served by a rude lady & there was no place sit or stand.
The hotel is clean but out dated. The pool area is big but looks old as well. Breakfast is part of the stay but they serve you and you’re only able to eat in your room and it’s only 1 serve per person staying in the room.
Clean, roomy Hotel. Stayed 2 days, Hotel was in the center of Escondido, easy to take trips to Oceanside and Valley Center.

We liked how close we are to everything. We don't like being on the third floor (fear of heights), but next time we will ask for a room on the lower floor.
