Hotel Vista Atsugi in Japan
No explanation about the room upon check-in. The room smelled of cigarettes, even though I had reserved a non-smoking room. The entire hotel seems to be set on heater, but the room was too hot and very uncomfortable. I complained to the reception but the foreign staff who responded were not professional. Eventually, I told the Japanese staff about that situation and they borrowed me a small electric fan. The cleaning staff gave us new bath towels and face towels on my second night.

Small room with mediocre matress. Service is good but very few amenities. Close to the train station.

A very comfort and very cheap price near to Station. Will prefer to book the same hotel if i visit Atsugi again. the only negative thing i experienced is no exhaust or ventilation in smoking to suck the smoke out.
Nice please for the cost. Close to shopping and resterants. Train staytion is two blocks away. Overall nice hotel.

Good choice for comfort and convenience
The hotel is quite new and located only 3 minutes from the station. Some of the staff have very good English, some are limited. The rooms are around 16 sq metres and comfortable. Everything works fine. Bathroom new. We booked it thinking it was in Hakone..but it is a 30 minute local train ride from the station that takes you to Hakone (a beautiful area). However the extra train journey was fast and easy. The Atsugi station also has a direction rail connection to Tokyo - about 1 hour on the limited express - AUD $20 for 2 people. Plenty of food options around the hotel. In house western breakfast not recommended.
