Hotel has spacious rooms overlooking the ocean. Good on-site parking. Buffet dinner very good.

Location is convenient & meals are good
The staff were very helpful and amazing with the tour/location instructions! Maybe because it was my mom’s birthday on the last day, we got to use their karaoke room for free on our last night. We loved the food and the room. Although one downside is that the hot water in the lavatory doesn’t work. We didn’t bother to ask the staff instead we used the faucet in the shower room. Overall, it was a great experience!

Beautiful and Quiet Hotel in the Middle of Utoro
Hotel was accommodating when we stayed two nights, but had to book the nights separately. We were given the same room. One of the best bathrooms in all our Japanese hotel stays. Great many amenities, but they were labeled misleadingly in English, such as cleaner for makeup remover. Outdoor onsen on the top floor was great for enjoying the sunset. Breakfast and dinner buffets were standard Japanese fare. Not many vegetable choices and replenishing takes some time. Dining room isn’t very big, so plan your show-up time. Very close to Utoro bus terminal, tour boats, and all the eating places. There are 3 convenience stores nearby. Good place to stay when visiting Shiretoko 5 Lakes,
Location of hotel is very good, it is just walking distance to many restaurants and sightseeing area including the departing point for bear watching cruise. Hotel is a little old and dated. Food provided is normal standard.
verified t.friendsAug 15, 2019 The hotel was great for our stay. It was clean, updated and tidy, and the onsen on the 7th floor was so wonderfully upkept and gorgeous. It was a perfect stay for us before our visit to Shiretoko Park.
The dinner food quality is terrible. Seem like they put bunch of leftover together. Will not pay for food there again. WiFi is not great, on and off. The room was spacious though.
Stay if you must, avoid it if you can
Hotel has seen better days. For the price I expected much better quality. I’d avoid if you’re looking for good food and a place to relax.
Very nice and clean. The view is surreal! However not much to do or eat at around the hotel.

No frills comfortable stay
Skeletal staff that got the work done. Amazing chaps! Room was clean and comfortable. Food was ordinary with a few pleasant surprises at each meal. Public bath was not crowded due to low season. Walking distance to cruise operators and a short drive to the park.
Centrally and conveniently located. Near the National Park, cruise operators and also the few local attractions and harbour. Nice indoor and outdoor onsens with sauna. Friendly and professional staff. Nice and substantial spread for breakfast and dinner. Room was also sizeable with view of harbour. Enjoyed my stay there with my family.

Hotel OK although a bit dated. Staff very rude.
I booked a sea view room online but confirmation came back with 'run-of-house' which I didn't pay attention to. During the check-in, the staff who attended to us couldn't speak English and struggled to service us. A lady staff came over, gave him a disgusted look and wasn't friendly to us either. When we asked about seaview, she said "You paid very cheap, cannot have seaview, go check with your booking company". Full stop.
Overall we had a great time staying there. We felt relaxed and recharged after all the onsen and tasty food that they prepared.
