Bandos Maldives

After a long search we booked Bandos and after reaching at resort we feel proud to such property. We started our trip on 21st Oct'21, after reaching at Male airport Hotel staff was waiting at gate with name board and he took us to resort. Reception team welcome us with greetings /water/towels. Staff was huge polite and humble. 1.5 lacs sqft resort is open to explore its up to us now how much we can explore and we made our holiday very memorable. About resort - Its a biggest resort of Maldives with 200 rooms and 500+ staff. Prices are also nominal. Rooms are very specious and big enough to feel as king of island. 👑🏝️ All rooms are having open space which is very near to beach. (5 meter) bottle of wine for honeymoon couple is also given. Food - If you love Indian food then how think twice. Ajay/Amit will treat you as member of family. Restaurants staff Tanuj will serve you chapati and give you best hospitality. Amit is head chef and alway take guest feedback about every food. Both have magics in hand. Ajay singh is a Indian cook he can make all kind of Indian food if you are missing anything away from home. We never feel that we were not at home. Club house/gym/pool/Deck all are always open to explore. No charges for this. 2 other restaurants are also best and have nominal charges. Alcohol start from 10$ and tea/coffee from 5$, Water activities are chargeable. They will follow timings as well. Recommended items to carry - Snorkeling kit, lotion, Tshirt, cooling powder, shorts, goggles, slippers and clogs. We made some unique memory at Bandos. We always recommend couples to visit Bandos. It has everything that is required by any traveller looking for clean beaches and excellent customer service. U see well behaved staff, cleanliness and peaceful beaches with amazing corals near the s**** itself. We saw a school of fish, may be more than lakh small dishes along with couple of large fish just on the beach itself. Never seen something like this before. What else, we enjoyed our four days of peaceful and quiet holiday with no disturbance from anyone. Sometimes too much of customer service is always obstrusive. The staff here are mindful of that. Food is good for those who enjoy international cuisine with less salt, less oil and almost no masala. There are lot of white spiders and other insects in night on beach so keep torch or may be avoid at night. Both sunset and sunrise are beautiful. The property is close to airport and i found it very convenient as it has best of both the world. The transfer fee plus environment fee is very high( 240 dollars). May be you can negotiate and get it free. There is a provision for entertainment every night too and you can enjoy your evenings there. It’s good to take all inclusive meal as everything in maldives is quite expensive. May be breakfast plus dinner can be taken and lunch u can explore. For health freak and sports buff, it has a nice gym and play area. In short, it was a memorable trip for us.

Bandos is a self-contained property with everything you may expect. Scuba diving, water sports, snorkeling, various organized trips including whale shark and glass-bottom boat trips. The downside the resort needs to review is repricing to allow people to use more of that. The price tags are high for families with scuba at $400/4, banana ride $180/4, and so on. While the food was good after two days it becomes a kind of repetitive. Deserts need improvement as it was only cheesecakes and pastries making most of it twice a day. Can be more imaginative. Despite that one will still be thinking about not being on a full meal plan as one a la carte can put a $150 billon your table. If you enjoy drinks go for the all-inclusive plan as every cocktail is $16&more, mocktails $11, beers $13. The sea is clear blue and coral fishes right at the beach one can see with swimming glass itself. The service is very good and the staff excellent. Rooms are cozy and well-appointed so worth a stay with the hope that the resort makes the stay more pleasurable by re-looking as some pain points to make it a place one would like to go back to again and again.

I travel-led in sep21 with my wife and toddler for 4n5d and stayed in beach villa and went for full board plan. It was simply an amazing holiday we had and we thank ban-dos team for making this trip so memorable. The rooms were decent and was 10 ft away from the sea (we could see and listen to the sound of the sea all day long. The foods in buffet in gallery restaurant was amazing (best part they bring lot of varieties every day for not making it monotonous. Surprisingly my wife who had a vegetarian also had many options as she likes international cuisine. Experience while doing skuba was amazing as we could see many sharks and thousands of colorful fishes. Even in snorkeling near dive ban-dos you can hundreds of fishes swimming with you. But the best part were definitely their staff who took care of us and our daughter like anything, among them, one person who stood out was tanuj in gallery restaurant. He remembered all our preferences, took extra care of our daughter while we were eating and delivered excellent service every time we dined in the restaurant.

Beaches were very clean with silver color sand. The staff was cleaning the beaches frequently. Golf carts were used for transport. The all inclusive package had free flow of alcohol in swimming pool area, during dining and in other restaurants. Mini bar had few items topped up. Food was good with lot of variety of non veg items and limited veg items. There were many type of sweets and appetizers, soups etc. The staff prepared a free birthday cake for my wife and celebrated by singing a song with us. The rooms were very clean, hygienic and spacious about 509 sqft. The premium villa was 1200 sq-ft with jacuzzi. They had a club area for children for various sports like tt, badminton, volley ball, lawn tennis and even a big football field. Lots of waterworks activities were carried out at reasonable prices. Overall experience was very good. When we departed they announced free transfer to airport. This was not there at the time of booking so we had to pay 100usd pp for transfer to and fro.

We are a small family of 4 members. We visited the property for our marriage anniversary. The first thing we noticed were the punctuality and the cleanliness. Though the food and other paid services were on the expensive side, thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality. Food in all restaurants were top notch. Unfortunately, we missed to register for snorkelling trip on time and had to miss it. That’s one thing to remember. You need to be booking the excursions at least a day in advance. However, snorkelling in the lagoon was superb. My children spent hours together in the water. We got 3 snorkels and 3 masks for rent and i found that is the best option to do snorkel in your time. If you are going for scuba dive, make sure you book for it in such a way that you finish the dive at least 24 hours before your flight. Altogether, we had a fantastic 3 nights and 4 days there in bandos. On the 4th day, we were really sad to leave such a great place, but had to bid good bye!

It was superb stay with ban-dos maldjves. We booked beach villa with all inclusive package from mm t 11th-14th septa 22. Everything was superb. Resorts staff is well behaved, so helpful and very attentive. I would mention ms mar-val from the staff was very nice. She always greet with smile and always remember your room number. For food there are multiple options in buffet in gallery restraunt. Food is so tasty and prepared under the management of indian head chef mr amit. He is also very nice person. Indian cuisine was delicious. In dining services tanuj and suresh was very fast and attentive. Tanuj decorated our dining table with flowers voluntarily on our last day at resort. It was so nice of him. Lastly rooms were spacious, housekeeping services were perfect and location is very near front male only 15 minute speed boat ride. J love this place. Mesmerizing blue water of sea and j am just missing those beautiful dayz.

I had an amazing stay at Bandos 5days and 4 nights. Bandos has maintained the island very well , the staff of Bandos are very friendly specially Chef Ajay Singh , Afefa , Ravi , Grace. During our stay these people always made sure that our stay is going smoothly, they took care of even small things too ,Thank you ,all the best 🙏.You get different excursions day wise, water activities are little expensive compared to Indian rates but it’s really worthy , you will have amazing experience, in clear blue water with no crowd. You will get amazing photography spots in Bandos. The beach water is soo clear that you can see the fishes clearly. Try to book all inclusive package, they arrange speed boat for guests at fair price.

It was a fantastic stay. The island staffs were very cordial. Food - yummy. View- breathtaking. Rooms - superclean, cozy. Bed- ahhh. We visited bandos in march 23. It was a fantastic stay. We booked a standard beachfront room. It was super clean and spacious. We had gone half board. So breakfast and dinner was included for us in the gallaria. It was good most of the days except sunday. They had local maldivian food. Though we were non vegetarian, it was just too much fishy for us even. But the rest of the days were great. We had a resident singer performing at the sand bar. Wow what a voice. All staff were great. They helped us politely when required.

I stayed at ban-dos resort for 11 days. The resort is 10/10. Staff behaviour is very nice and cooperative. I and my wife are pure vegan. And during our stay there were two or three indian couples. Therefore there are very less indian vegetarian options at dinner. We requested to chef for our food requirement. They arranged for us special indian curry in every dinner specially for us. Their indian chef mr. Ajay singh is a very nice person. He accommodated our dinner very well. He was making special indian veg. Curry for us and personally served to our table at every dinner. Excellent resort.

Ban-dos was our first maldives destination. We loved every bit of it. It’s close to male airport, so transportation is easy and covered by the resort. If you wanted to experience the corals and do a deep dive, you should definitely visit this resort. Must reserve the dive before visiting irrespective of what anyone says. Food was very good and we loved it. Resort team made the travel and covid test process easy. They’ve even coordinated with next resort we were visiting and helped us the best way. We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints with our beach villa stay.

We loved our stay in ban-dos maldives, right from room to food and hospitality every thing was perfect as you expect during your vacation. Room had a execillent view of beach, resturent staff was very humble, special mention to chef ajay singh who great-ed us every time when we came for breakfast or dinner, he took care of extra food requirements for our baby and prepared some mouth watering indian dishes, i will definitelty recomment ban-dos maldives resorts to any one who wants to visit maldives.

Overall a very good experience. Location is wonderful plus welcoming staff. Vegetarian food options were limited.

Bandos met expectations in all areas: cleanliness, friendly staff, location, food , safety…. We stayed for 3N4D and it has been a stay to remember always. It was my birthday they surprised me @12 midnight with cake and next day we received complimentary wine and fruit basket. They didn’t leave a stone to make it special. I would really recommend we really enjoyed our stay.

Big big island resort, well maintained, very good rooms just near beach, staff good. We got airport to resort free speed boat transfers scheme available on make my trip in maldives all resorts are good, ban-dos is one of them, its so big surrounded by sea that my room in which i stayed was 1 km away from reception & resaurant. Location is nearby to airport, just only 20 mnt. Food quality, staying, and security is superb.

Good property, staff and hygiene.

We traveled ahead of christmas 2023 with the family - had the most magical time. What sets ban-dos apart from other resorts are the customer care and varied amenities, especially for children. My 9 year old enjoyed the games / play area, my 84 year old father and i enjoyed some games of table tennis. The staff are multi-talented - the christmas musical performance was a+ grade!

My cousins and i stayed in ban-dos maldives after much deliberation on the Bandos Maldives selection. The resort, rooms, location, beaches, staff, activities and food- nothing disappointed us. We woke up to serene views and ended our days with feel good entertainment shows. We loved our vacation at ban-dos maldives.

It was a very pleasant experience, all things were very effortless and there were something which was well thought of.

Ban-dos maldives is a fabulous place for a relaxing vacation. The property is 17 mnts away (boat ride) from the airport. A very welcoming and courteous bunch of staff. Well appointed rooms/cottages. They gave me a room upgrade. We took the all meals package and i would recommend it strongly to all. The pool was good with nice warm water. Dive ban-dos is a must try. A special shout out to our instructor shivad. He is a fabulous person. I had a wonderful and unforgettable holiday!

Excellent staff and facility is maintained well. Decent vegetarian food option but would have preferred a bit more variety for vegetarians. Dessert section was wonderful. Diving and snorkeling is a must try but do plan ahead and book the session a day or two beforehand to avoid missing it. Overall loved the experience!

Overall it was good property according to room rates, activities was also ok. But they can think to provide bicycle to commute across island

The quality of the foods is good and they have various food option
