Rating: ★★★★★ I recently had the pleasure of staying at Malahini Kudo Bandos Resort with my husband and two friends from 14th to 18th July 2023, and it was an absolute delight. We booked the Sunset Beach Pool Villa on the all-inclusive plan, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The resort's AIG plan, with its extensive alcohol and food options, was a fantastic addition to our trip. For a reasonable extra charge of $50 per person per day, it included all the alcohol we could desire and offered a wide range of delectable food choices. Throughout our stay, we found ourselves drawn to Bar 75 and Blu Bar, where we spent most of our time. The bar's ambiance was perfect for relaxation, and the swings added a unique touch to the experience. Blu Bar, with its enticing shisha offerings and nightly events like karaoke and live music, provided lively entertainment and unforgettable memories. The main restaurant, where we had our breakfast, lunch buffet, and dinner, stood out with its exceptional service. The staff was incredibly accommodating and prepared dishes we requested, such as butter chicken and biryani, with utmost perfection. The convenience of making requests during the day and having the food ready during dinner was truly commendable and made our dining experience exceptional. The island itself was a picturesque haven with pristine white sandy beaches, adding to the charm of our stay. Moreover, the spa experience was simply WOW – a true treat for relaxation and rejuvenation. For adventure enthusiasts, the resort offered a variety of water sports. As part of the all-inclusive plan, non-motorized sports were included, which was a delightful bonus. For motorable sports, they were available at an additional cost. I cannot end this review without mentioning the outstanding service provided by the resort's staff, particularly Dipak, Sourav, Vishal, Sudesh, and Deena. Their warmth, attentiveness, and dedication truly made our stay memorable and unforgettable. In summary, Malahini Kudo Bandos Resort provided an unforgettable and fun-filled experience. From the stunning beaches to the fantastic dining options and commendable service, every aspect of our trip was nothing short of perfect. The location of property is just 12 minutes away from the velena airport by speedboat transfer, so the transfer charges are affordable thats a plus point. The food served at maggi and blu bar is excellent. Lot of variety in breakfast, lunch, dinner, f&b. All inclusive package should be taken if one wants to enjoy food. We could even get the indian dal rice, curry in each meal so suitable for both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Hygiene standards maintained are very high. The staff is also polite, humble and very active. Especially elvira gave very good info about Malahini Kuda Bandos Maldives facilities and check in check out was very smooth. Before landing in maldives i was getting all my doubts cleared with good support by their team member malsha. On the last day of departure one staff member anaiz accompanied us till the airport departure gate which we never expected and he was waiting till we confirmed all the check in process is complete. The resort is beautiful. My daughter enjoyed very much. The beaches are very clean and safe. Every evening there is special activity like live music, games night, sting ray feeding etc. All the water sports facilities and excursion are available on chargeable basis. Only one request life jackets should be provided free of cost. The sun rise water villas are under construction. We could see one villa, but was not available during our stay. Its really very beautiful and luxury.

Hands down, one of the best Island resorts in Maldives for this price range. Hospitality and responsible crew makes your vacation great. I would list pros and cons of my stay. Pros: 1) best and affordable 4 star resort if you book it early (2-3 months before). 2) Very friendly staff and great hospitality. This makes you feel valued. 3) Just 15 minutes ride by a speed boat. Transfers are managed well. 4) Amazing view from your rooms. Beach villas are spacious and have a wonderful view. 5) Beach villas has a outdoor shower. It's a good experience to have a private outdoor shower. 6) Prompt house keeping staff. 7) Resort and beaches are well maintained. Cons: (I am not dissatisfied much but below suggestions can further enhance the experience). 1) Though the food has a spread of different cuisines, they have very less veg options and they lack taste. Especially for Indians, food is too plain. 2) Having a infinity swimming pool can be a good option. 3) Souvenir shop doesn't have much varieties. It's advisable to buy it from a local shop or from a duty free shops in Airport. 4) Couple photo shoot option can be added to the list. (I am not sure if this service is available). Final verdict I would strongly recommend it to everyone. Honeymooners can have a wonderful time here. Hope you find my review helpful!

Very good experience and value for money. We had a beach villa with a full board package (all 3 meals). I would recommend a full board package over all inclusive, if both you and your partner are not drinking heavily. Special mention to some of the staff Kannah at Beach bar 75 is an amazing person and he made our drinking sessions so much amazing, then Deepak at the Maaga restaurant was so helpful, he made amazing Naan breads for us and Kai at the Maaga reception was always welcoming. Keep up the good work. Just one piece of advice for the people at marine hub, they have to be bit more supportive and helpful towards guests who are not regular or are not pro with water sports. We wanted to do scuba but we were made so afraid and sceptical that we opted out of it. Things like if you come up once out of the dive for any reason your session will end and you will waste your money. I felt as if they didn't want us to go for that. Other than that awesome experience, we stayed there for 4 nights, we were two couples and got beach villas close to each other. I would recommend you to get beach villa from 101 to 107 as they have the best view, other rooms are a bit blocked by heavy trees and plantation. Open washrooms are the best part of the room and they are just amazing. Overall wonderful experience!

The island is small, rooms are specious and clean, beach is full of shell and sharp stones which can hurt your foot, people at the reception are very kind and helpful, restaurant has variety of food and salads and sweets dish, restaurant workers and chiefs are very kind and welcoming, people at blue bar are so stubborn, selfish and rude. Water is not so clean and clear as other resort which i have been before! the reason can be, because of the resort distance with male which is very less only 10 min by speed boat. Not so-much variety of fishes you can see because of the same issues! all together our stay was peaceful. And pcr is mandatory while return back to mumbai and it will cost you 115 dollars per person. And one thing more if your flight is in the late afternoon or evening you should any how empty the room by exactly 12pm other wise every 2 hour they will charge you 15 dollars which is totally discussing! and no free water will be serve in your room the day of checking out. ! sad

This is a nice, small, cozy island just 10 minutes speed boat ride from Velana Airport. Suggest staying in Beach Villa or Deluxe rooms only. The room allotted was top notch. It is really spacious and has an open bathroom! We went for bed and breakfast combo. Breakfast was really nice and kept changing every day. But not many options for veg, but we are hardcore non-veggies, so we loved the buffet spread. Lunch and dinner we had at Bluu restaurant. Food was really good. All their restaurant properties are by the beach and really beautiful. Staff was really nice. The only downside was some water activities required, minimum people pre-required and if you are staying for only a few days, you will end up not meeting the min req and missing that activity. We missed the dolphin cruise :( Overall it's a really great value for money resort. We had a great time here.

Had a memorable experience at the kukda bandos. I didn't have much expectations though while arriving, but the resort exceeded expectations at every level. The beach villa was clean, large, luxurious and the view and proximity to beach was amazing. It actually felt like a water villa and we almost had a private beach to ourselves. The bathroom was the highlight, which was large, green and open as well ( with complete privacy. The food and dining halls were awesome with buffets having varieties across cuisines, and across days as well. At night we have candle light dinners in the dinning area as well. We had indian food as well. Veg varieties/options were low, but we enjoyed the non-veg dishes. Didn't try the water activities though so not sure abt the prices. Over-all a very premium and luxurious experience

Speedboat takes only 30 minutes after you land at airport. 85 transport to and fro is extortion are. Hotel as a policy does not permit any other operator from the resort. All activities are accordingly priced up disproportionately. I was not permitted to go to huge male citing that there is no service. In nutshell you are captive and at their mercy for pricing. Lunch and dinners are 55 each per person which can be avoided if one one goes a la carte. Beaches though white are rocky under the feet. Roughly 23% is charged extra over list price as service charges and taxes. Night entertainment are negligible and you are their captive. Additional night was 50% costly than the original price. This shows their attitude.

Just visited a resort in maldives and it was nothing short of a paradise! the crystal clear waters, pristine beaches, and stunning underwater life were simply breathtaking. The service was top-notch, and the food, a delightful mix of local and international cuisines, was to die for. It was the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. Can't wait to go back. Holidays at malahini kukda bandos, maldives was a pleasant one. We were received at the airport and taken to the resort by speed boat. 12 minutes journey. It is a small private island owned by the resort. The stay and food are excellent. 3 times buffet in the main restaurant or you may opt for a different meal plan and go to the 'bluu. There are various activities in the sea that you can do like snorkeling, scuba diving, para sailing dolphin cruises, island hopping and what not. Depending upon your time and money. All worth. If you can snorkel and dive, the submarine cruise may disappoint you. The climate is stable throughout the year. Worth considering going in the off season.

We stayed in the deluxe beach villa, it was right in front of the beach. The rooms were clean. The beach was maintained well with sufficient chairs to sit and relax. There were enough trees, so we could pull the chairs under the trees and relax there while still having a view of the beach. The food was amazing with a lot of options for non vegetarians, but sufficient options for vegetarians as well. For people used to spicy food, the food may seem a bit bland. The staff is really good, they greet you every time and are always smiling. Overall it had a very customer friendly vibe. Definitely opt for the all meals package, the buffet is worth it.

Excellent hospitality all the way from gassan managing the front office team to the ever smiling team serving guests at the restaurant maaga. - go for all inclusive, it only excludes fresh juices and fresh coconut. - very well planned night activities with a different theme every night. Energetic mc. - the complimentary candle light dinner is truly an awesome experience. Cons there is a mandatory pcr test for kids >5 yrs & unvaccinated, at the time of departure at airport, which is very expensive and a complete sham. This is not even checked in india. Cost is $100 for result in 2 hrs and $50 for result in 12 hrs.

It was an amazing vacation, friendly staff members, and very clean rooms. It's very close to male airport with excellent views.

We stayed for 3N and carried away beautiful memories. The island has many scenic views especially the Blue bar Crew and Staff is empathetic and helpful at all the times. Had delicious food at Maaga restaurant and team of Maaga is very kind - Vanesa, Prakash, Sharma - thank you for your service! If you want to have everything at budgeted price then this is the best place to visit.

We were group of 6 people enjoyed to the maximum. They have water sports inside the resort so no need to go out of resort for anything(you cant escape without their permission too :P)

Continental, Chinese, Indian and Italian food is available. Dipak from Tandoor section has made different kinds of fresh and hot bread as per our demand. He is very courteous. The resort is closest to the airport and takes 15 min. Service is excellent. All the staff members are young and energetic and from various countries.

Excellent property very close to the airport. Just a 10 minute speedboat ride away. Very hospitable staff. Great food and plenty of marine activities to be done which can be booked at the resort'd marine hub. Overall excellent experience. Only area of improvement is the slow wifi speed.

Proper safety of the travellers was ensured

The whole experience was awesome. Right from the pick up at the Airport to the drop at the Airport. The food was very nice and multi-cuisine. The staff was so helpful and considerate. The overall experience just wonderful. I would give a top rating to the resort.

Comfortable rooms, cleanliness maintained everywhere at mahalini are to be appreciated. Foods in the restaurant are of high quality. Special mention must be made of the nice behavior of the staff.

The room decor, foods and staff service was excellent. Venesha from maaga restaurant she was so polite with us the staff was really good. They greeted and help us every-time whenever we needed. In the reception also staffs so helpful
