Excellent property with good on-ground staff but poor customer service staff

First the good part - the property is in at a good location surrounded by clean waters. The property itself is clean and well-maintained. The staff at the property are friendly and are always available. Food is good too with a variety restaurants and choices. Upto the standards of other 5-star luxury resorts in maldives with 2 caveats. Their customer service or reservation team staff are not so helpful. My reservation was made within 7days of arrival and i was not notified prior to booking that bookings made/modified within 7days of arrival could lead to additional 200-500 usd per person for transfers. This is a significant amount and especially, if not informed. Even their website doesn’t indicate the same. There were to-fro mails with no conclusion or reassurance or even acceptance of this flaw from the reservation team till my arrival and i was locked into a non-refundable booking as well leading to an uncertain and hassled start of my trip. This is not an acceptable customer behaviour. The other caveat is small but the resort should improve on is that some of their good activities have a min. Pax requirement and if that is not fulfilled, interested people can’t do the same. I missed out two activities because of this. I understand pricing the activities for group keeps the pricing attractive but there should be options to do such things as private bookings as well.

Amazing resort for couples

We went there for our honeymoon and the hospitality was impeccable. F&b available at different restaurants were class apart and was truly a valuable experience for us. We tried the photography package as well as underwater dining experience at h20. To be honest, everything was worth our money. We came back with a lot of memories and would revisit the place soon.
