Lovely relaxing place

We enjoyed staying and appreciated the friendly staffs help. We were met a few minutes away and Mohamed carried our bags al the way back to the Riad. Really nice man. The rooms were pleasant and we enjoyed relaxing on the roof terrace. I didn’t feel so well one morning and the lady that serves breakfast prepared me a potion to drink that got me ready to roam the markets in minutes

The staff are very friendly and even though there are no locks on the doors you feel very safe and they even wash your dirty clothes for you and tidy your room. Its a great personal experience as its a small Riad.

The staff was incredible and such generous people. They helped set up tours and walked us to places we had no idea how to get to. It was really great to get to know them - they shared local instruments they were able to play, techniques for making great tea, and key phrases to use around the city.
Cozy Riad in a quiet part of Medina

This is a small 5 bedroom Riad in a quiet part of the Medina (Which turned out to be a bit of a walk to the main square). We were greeted by the housekeeping staff, who remained very helpful during our stay. The breakfast in the courtyard each morning was very good with fresh fruits, crepes and eggs. The room was smaller than expected, and we had a few communication issues but overall the stay was positive. Be prepared to walk quite a bit, and bring comfy shoes!
Nice and charming 'retreat' within the busy Medina

We staid in this Riad for 6 night in late January and the experience was very satisfactory. It is located on walking distance from the main attractions and very close to the souq. The staff is polite and speak English and they are willing to help with recommendation and suggestions. The building is old style but refurbished and does not certainly luck charm and atmosphere. If you are looking for a different experience, away from the usual big hotel chains (which you can find in the new part of town, by the way) I fully recommend this Riad.
Very welcoming hosts. Will definitely return.

Two friends and I booked the Riad Sable Chaud (RSC) for a weekend break in Marrakesh. It was the first time any of us had visited Marrakesh and the RSC is the ideal place for a first visit. The location: the location is very convenient. It is towards the west side of the medina and so only a short walk to Le Jardin Majorelle and Musee Yves Saint Laurent Marrakesh. Although almost sights in and around the medina are no more than 20 minutes walk away. I particularly appreciated the location of the RSC because it’s not in a particularly touristy location and you get to see more of local life. It is close to a wet market and the hassling you get from the more touristy areas is not so evident around the location of the RSC. The accommodation: the simple and bland front door opens up to reveal a simple, tranquil and beautiful oasis in the middle of the chaos that is Marrakesh. There is a beautiful courtyard with it’s own palm tree and mini jacuzzi pool and plenty of space to lounge. The rooms are simple, very tastefully decorated, clean spacious and comfortable. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, but no bathtubs. There is a roof terrace with ample space to relax in the sun. The staff: Mohamed, Fatima and the other staff are the most helpful and welcoming hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and they will help with directions and local recommendations. We felt totally relaxed around them and were sad to say goodbye when we were leaving. They speak English, French and Arabic.
Riad Sable Chaud

Very enjoyable stay for 7 nights. Friendly staff that is always there to help out no matter what the problem is. First time it is a little hard to find it but that's most Riads in old Town, very lovely and peaceful inside.

Riadl in Marrakech Medina
Verified review powered by
The Riad is in a poorly lit alleyway in the Medina, which was dark at night and didn't feel safe for a woman to walk to it on her own. Compared with the Riad at which we stayed in Fes, and another Marrakech Riad at which my friend stayed, the rooms and the food at Riad Sable Chaud were very mediocre. I stayed in Riad Sable Chaud twice, a week apart. For the second stay, I was downgraded to a tiny room next to the communal area, which was very noisy with guests arriving late at night, even though I had paid in advance for a more expensive room. The Manager wasn't very polite, however, the two female staff were gems - couldn't do enough to help.
Excellent, friendly Riad

Fantastic, reasonably priced small riad within the Medina walls but within easy walking distance of the Ville Nouvelle as well. We could not have been made more welcome - friendly staff, delightful owner. Nothing was too much trouble (including our growing addiction to the mint tea they served). This sort of hospitality is a rare thing these days, especially in more touristy areas, so we were very happy to find it - a real oasis of calm and tranquillity away from the souks. We will return to Morocco and will definitely be staying here again if we are in Marrakech.

Personale sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi necessità e gentile, struttura pulitissima sempre. Ci siamo trovati benissimo!

Kindness and honesty

The owner was extremely kind and made everything to help us. The place is very nice, cozy, has a home-feeling, very quiet. Breakfast is quite basic but you would not find much more in a four star in town. It is as it is. Warning: it's extremely hard to find (Nokia maps cannot track you to destination, at some point you need to start guessing in a labyrinth of narrow streets) but they can provide clear direction if you ask in advance.
Vacanza in Marocco
