Very pleasant, older hotel in nice residential neighborhood near Vondel Park. Clean, comfortable room, modern bathroom, large shower. Very friendly staff. Close to tram stops.
carole j.familyOct 31, 2024 The hotel room was clean and reasonably priced. Mattresses were comfortable but the bunk beds in the family room were very creaky. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room as advertised, which was annoying as the hotel charged for drinks (this was not made clear at the outset).
I loved my stay here! The bed was super comfortable and although the room was petite, it was clean and nice.

I was pleasanty surprised about this property...the only thing i did not think was good was the wifi and it was a bit far from central area
It was a good 35 minute walk to get to the center of amsterdam ...transport by tram takes just as long so i walked instead. I am a fast walker.
Clean and quiet hotel, walkable into the centre and near Vondel Park. Allowed us to store our luggage before and after check in/out. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, great bagel place opposite.
Family room a decent size, would stay again.
I liked my room. I wanted to rent a bike so that took a lot of walking but I found Mac bikes for 12 euros.
The desk clerk was quite grumpy and unhelpful when I arrived. I was worried it was going to be a bad experience when I met him.
The night clerk was great. She was friendly and helpful.
Once I found a bike to rent, I was happy.
Good location, near the park and the tram.
pierrette.partnerAug 27, 2024 Really enjoyed this hotel! Staff extremely friendly and helpful. They even offered an umbrella because it looked like a possibility of rain. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Will definitely come back. Their café is not yet open but coffee was available in rooms and in their café (for hotel guests) and lot’s of restaurants around.
Unique, well maintained, on the small side but still works
We booked the quad room, was super tight and had no space to place any of our bags. Bare minimum amenities… it was clean inside the room. Beds were comfortable. Would find another place if we were to come back to Amsterdam though.
Two night stay in Amsterdam
The staff was so accommodating and helpful! There was always someone at the front desk to answer questions or let us in the building. Room was a bit small - literally just enough space for a bed! But it worked for our short stay. The neighborhood was adorable as well and felt very safe. An easy bike ride into the central city.

Room was very small. shower, toilet and sink were in a little tiny space with no shower door which water spill all over while showering. Ideally this room suppose to be for a family of 2. I have checked the other rooms, the rooms for 2 persons are bigger than the rooms for 4 persons. I wonder why they squeeze 4 people in this tiny space! In addition, hair dryer was now working and I had to go to different suite to dry my hair…. Not recommending this hotel for a family more than 2.

The staff was very friendly and helpful after I got in from a long flight. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but a unique experience coming from the US. Overall, this hotel had a great location (5 min from Vondelpark) and I would stay again!
Excellent hotel the rooms are small but beds are so comportable..and there are wonderful black out curtains and fans in the roons..so you get a great nights sleep. Its in a great area with super restaurants and plenty of coffeeshops and a small supermarket 2 doors up..
and very handy to the tram to get into
town (which runs till 11.30pm) and is easy to use with the amsterdam 1 day blue passes.
Staff were very helpful and I would highly recomnend the area..just far enough out to feel like a local and not part of tourist hot spot .
The place was quaint. The rooms is small and the stairs are steep but they do have an elevator. They were very kind to let us check in early so we could clean up after our long flight. At night it was very noisy. Lots of yelling, a random person singing and a lot of other city noises. The shower could use a better drainage system. It was good for 1 night.
No frills and no issues either. Good value for the price and a nice location outside of the busier center of Amsterdam.
