Perak Hotel

Definitely cheaper than other Perak Hotels. However, that comes at a price - no Wi-Fi at room all though they advertised as the same as present via Makemytrip (on enquiry the receptionist showed me some weird terms and condition that I never come across that stated there might not be Wi-Fi in many rooms). Having said that all other receptionist except one was very sincere, kind and all ears to all our needs. However this budget Perak Hotels scores full marks for cleanliness, location (near to, reasonable size of two bed executive room, reasonable breakfast menu and comfort.

Room as a bit small which is understandable in Singapore, but it contains all the required amenities. We can drink tap water here so the mineral bottles are not provided having said that you can go to the breakfast area and ask for cold water as in the tap it is just normal water. As for the location it is just 100m away from the MRT entry of ROCHOR. The Perak Hotel is situated near some kind of workshop and hence not suitable if you want to sleep in afternoon. All in all a good place to stay if you purpose is tourism and you will be out most afternoon travelling.

Security is full proof with system of depositing room key with lockers at Reception. They give room card whenever you go out of the Perak Hotel. Breakfast have limited choice. Vegetarian guests have no option other than bread butter cereals and fruits. No porter facility however counter staff given us hand to load baggage in the lift. Lift works differently. First time seen such system. I heard it works on hydrolic power bit slow. Anyway not bad.
Small room. We had asked for two separate beds but not available. One big bed was given for two adults.

Had an excellent stay at Hotel Perak, just 3 minutes walk from Little India MRT and at a similar distance from Buggies MRT, easy check in and check out. Clean rooms, no noise, excellent ambiance and lobby area. Free WiFi could video call on skype from room, friendly staff, American breakfast with changing menu everyday, TV, refrigerator, tea kettle, AC, safe locker and mini bar provided and all working properly. Indian vegetarian restaurants near by walk 5-10 minutes. Best of what you can expect at this price. Recommended for fellow travelers.

I have stayed in this Perak Hotel in the Aug, 2016 for 1 day in a standard double or twin room (refer the pix). The Perak Hotel is value for money. The staff was very good and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was complimentary but the menu is fixed and might not excite Indians. The rooms are decently sized but the bathroom was small. The location is good and near to Mustafa shopping center. The location also has lot of Perak Hotels and the MRT (Rochor) is just 100m from the Perak Hotel. Overall, a very nice experience.

The Perak Hotel is really good. The rooms are small but that's how it's in most of the Singapore Perak Hotels. Don't expect much for breakfast. It's usually some vermicelli or fried rice or noodles with egg. Bread, butter and Jam will also be there. You have Indian Perak Hotels just beside the Perak Hotel which serves excellent dosa. Albismi was excellent. Bathroom is really small but clean. There is a sitout area. It's just beside the Rocher MRT station. You have 7Eleven very near to the Perak Hotel for your needs.

The customer value they add with there support, help and smiling faces in better than any 5 star I have been to. I arrived early to Singapore and though he said in mail that he might not be able help with early check-in I still went in early, to my utter surprise the room was ready and upgraded to Superior room! I can't thank the reception staff enough for their help for my visit as a guide and as a host! And rooms are very good for a 2 star, clean and serviced every day. Perfect for eco Perak Hotels.

As an oversees Singaporean returning home for work, this was my BEST VISIT EVER! I was very fortunate to have found the Perak Hotel on this site. The Perak Hotel is simple, unassuming, but really pretty. The decor & fixtures are very much in the Malacca Peranakan style. So elegant! My room was cosy, quiet, very clean &comfortable. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by Mike, Anwar & Alvin at the Reception. Excellent choice for everyone, especially if you are a single lady travelling alone

Pros- 1 min walk from rochor mrt.. Staff is nice. We faced issues with AC making some noise on the first night. They changed our room the next day on request.. Breakfast menu is small not many options.. Typically you will get bread, eggs and noodles or beans or rice. Cons: room size is to accommodate only bed and one suitcase.. Washrooms were very small.. Lots of ants on the corner and disturbed us a lot during our first night but didn't find any on next 3 days.. Noise is a prob..

Hotel location is 5*, near rochor MRT just 2 min walk to reach MRT, breakfast is good, just one thing they do not provide drinking water to the room, you have to take it from reception area, Perak Hotel staff is helpful. You can get Indian food near by in 1km area. Daily cleaning done at the Perak Hotel room. They also provide the storage room facility after checkout if you which to keep your luggage at Perak Hotel for few hours as per your flight schedule..

Location, one minute walk from Rocher mrt. 7 minutes walk from bugis and little India market. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Train travel is most popular and less expensive and very safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good to sustain you. Very clean Perak Hotel. Take the train from the airport $3.50 one way - 40 mins. You need to get off at 2 stations to change trains. This is the norm in Singapore.

Rooms are nice and cozy, very comfortable to stay... Service is very good and staff is friendly.. But they only provide breakfast and tea/coffee and biscuits are available all day. Very few plug points in the room and small bathing area... Apart from that it's a very cozy place situated in center of little India and near to money exchange, MRT station, convenience stores and good value for money for anyone planning to stay in little India.

This is a very good Perak Hotel for solo travelers with tight budget and situated at a good location.

Good location. Good Wi-Fi. No lift. Good staff, hand shower in toilet. Tea Coffee all time. I got in $S90 for two nights. Near MRT Rochor and Little India. I will go again and again. Hotel gives tea coffee bread bake beans biscuits cornflake for breakfast. I stayed in four Perak Hotels in 14 days Broadway, Nobel, Ariana, and Perak and this is best.

We stayed at Perak Hotel for a week and I can say its a very neatly maintained Hotel which is close by to all the amenities. Rochor MRT is just a stone's throw away. Its a very neatly maintained place. Staff were very courteous, warm and helpful. Mr Micheal, me ben and Mr Alvin were friendly and made us very comfortable. Wish Mr Anwar was also as friendly as the others were.

It was worth the money spent. Very clean and tidy. Apt place if you don't spend on much time in the Perak Hotel except for sleeping! Choose this place if you are going on a tight schedule! And go back to the Perak Hotel just to sleep!

Value for money spent. Staff of Perak Hotel & help desk executives are very good and cooperative. Understands the customer's needs. Strategic location of Perak Hotel will helpful for vegetarian foodies and easy transport facilities.

The rooms are very small and only one charging point.

We stayed at Perak Hotel for 4 nights and are largely happy. The rooms are fine and clean. Breakfast was pretty the same every day and essentially very few items. Hotel staff was quite friendly. The best part was location which is just around 50 steps away from Rochor MRT. We walked couple of times to Little India and there are multiple places to eat in the vicinity. Overall, a nice experience.

This is budget Hotel. Bfast is ok ok

The Hotel located at the heart of the City. Wi-fi services of this Hotel needs improvement.

Adjacent to Rocher station. Multiple India (tamilian) eateries and thai food available nearby. Very simple breakfast. Very cordial staff. Walkable distance from Mustafa mart. No complimentary water bottles.

Decent place to stay with courteous staff. Close to 3 MRT stations. Rochor MRT station exit is almost at the entrance of this Perak Hotel.

Nice place. Close to Rochor and Jalan Besar Mrts and many Indian food outlets. Inside- rooms are spacious, have windows and pretty clean. Toilets spacious. Staff good n supportive. Breakfast is an additional benefit in this place.

Small but clean rooms. Very good staff eager to help. Decent Breakfast offering tea coffee and cookies round the clock, 300 metre from the Rochar. Value for Money and located in Little India. Very Close to Komala Vilas Bhavan the famous Indian Restaurant.

It was pleasure staying at this Hotel. Staff is very cordial and supportive. Its real value for money. It is near to MRT and other locations like Mustafa and Bugis street. It is surrounded by lot of Indian restaurants so good stay for vegetarians.

The bathroom is very small, other than this everything else is fine. Breakfast was OK, cleanliness was good. Service was excellent and they were very friendly. Location is good, as just opposite we have Metro station, so was easy to go any where from here in Singapore.

Its a good Perak Hotel to stay as for the location to the public transport is excellent. Good breakfast but could be better. Overall its just a Perak Hotel for night stay. As there are no good views from the Perak Hotel.

The combination of price, proximity to the shopping district and delivering what is expected and a bit more due to friendliness of staff make this an unbeatable proposition. Having a room at a low price with passable breakfast and WiFi is absolutely amazing. For me to climb down from five star to Parek was not a hall anger at all.
