The whole place was very quiet, the bathroom was exceptionally clean as well as the rest of the property. The included breakfast is local food, mostly vegetarian. We like this but if you have to have cereal or other western food this isn't the place for you. Parking is easy too, something that is not common in Taiwan, especially in resort areas.
What an amazing place! The Laurel Villa was so convenient, and so beautiful and comfortable. We loved our room, and the breakfast was delicious. The bike tour with Wayne was the high light of our stay. It is obvious he loves Sun moon Lake, and all of the stories were so interestiing. We wished we had booked another nigh.

denis.partnerOct 10, 2024 Compact, comfortable place in the middle of the action. We arrived early in the afternoon hoping to drop off our bags but were given our room right away. We did the morning bike tour and found it very enjoyable and learned a lot. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice and good coffee. Enjoyed our stay and would go back.

Lovely little B&B at Sun Moon Lake - would (and most definitely will) rebook in a heart beat! The rooms are spotless and very spacious, and the host was so kind and helpful. Enjoyed the lake and surrounding area thoroughly, 100% recommend! (Side note - I don’t believe any of the rooms have a lake view but the quality of the hotel outweighs this factor in my opinion.)
Excellent location: just mins walking to the 水社码头where you get on the boat.
Excellent staff: extremely helpful in providing sightseeing tips.
Unique deco: deco in the room and lobby are unique and elegant.
Excellent Chinese breakfast buffet

Staff friendly and the hotel is clean. The room has a nice minimalist decor. However there are no counter space in the bathroom.
Great location, close to the pier but quiet at night. Very clean and modern. We'd happily return! Free breakfast too (suitable for vegans/vegetarians)!

Early morning walks are very refreshing and nice!

We had a very enjoyable stay. The location was convenient as it's across the street from the boat dock and staff was helpful and friendly. The owner took us out for a sunrise bike tour along the lake and it was the highlight of our trip to Sun Moon Lake.
Great stay at Laurel Villa
We had a great stay in Laurel Villa. The place is right in front of the ferry terminal. Rooms are very nice and very clean. Japanese inspired. Bed is comfy. The people running it are very friendly and gave us tips on how to go about the island. It is also near the bus stop.
The B&B was in a great location in sun moon lake. The owner and her family were very friendly and helpful and gave excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was great. The owner also accommodated our personal request. If you are in the area I 100 percent recommend this hotel.
