My stay at the Kantary Bay Hotel Rayong was phenomenal! The staff was outstanding, ensuring every moment was enjoyable. Its prime location made exploring a breeze. Check-in was incredibly efficient, and the hotel’s Italian restaurant delivered unforgettable meals. I started each day with their fantastic breakfast buffet, which had so many delicious options. The pool was stunning—a perfect spot to relax—and the Wi-Fi was impressively fast, making everything so convenient. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Five stars all the way!

Decent hotel with good facilities. A little underused but nice pools and gym and bowling alley and pool tables etc.

Fine place but not the family resort we hoped
Kantary bay is a fine hotel at a reasonable price. Unfortunately many of the amenities that are listed for families are for a fee, such as bowling, air hockey, foosball & pool. We chose this hotel because we thought it was a family resort, but that is not the case. It’s a solid regular hotel with some additional features that are family friendly, for an additional fee.
Perfect in every way. Nobody will ever give this place a bad review

Very big room with all necessities provided for long stay and right in front of beach with many local food vendors. Hotel is very clean with amenities well maintained - nice pool, billard room, bowling, gym with steam rooms. Family orientated.
dennis.partnerMay 13, 2022 The property when new in 1999 was probably very nice. The views from the room were panoramic. We were placed in an older room where it showed visible wear in every room. The air conditioner built up ice and leaked water on the floor. We were actually asked why our room was in the older un renovated section of the hotel. The buffet and food were adequate but not great.

Never heard of the Kantary chain before but now I’m a fan. This hotel offers several well thought out amenities that I’ve never seen in Thailand before. It almost felt like we were on a cruise, which I love! If you stay here make sure to tour the property in its entirety the first day so you don’t miss any of the wonderful perks. The all you can eat breakfast was delicious. If I could offer one suggestion it would be to offer gluten free bread alternatives. But honestly that’s almost unheard of in Thailand so it won’t stop me from coming back. The beach across the street isn’t as picturesque as some of the others a few hours south, but we enjoyed eating fresh seafood and watching the waves. Plus we had great swimming in the two pools and jacuzzi on the property. So no need to drive to the swimming beaches about 20 minutes away we were told. We went in low season so there were several areas where we could relax without many people around. There was also a tennis court we never got around to using. Free welcome drinks and snacks were an added plus.
Could have chose a better location
Ok, a bit biased here. I love the Kantary brand, everything you would expect from a 5 star Hotel. Big beautiful rooms, Soaking tub, excellent buffet. Our only distraction was the outside area. The Hotel is located next to nothing, the beaches were dirty and covered with trash. The Bell hop recommended the beaches 20 km away. There is literally nothing to do around the hotel. Bring your own car, otherwise you're going to be disappointed. All the attractions that Rayong is known for is miles away.
