We picked Spread Eagle based on reviews and because it was a short taxi ride to Wimbledon. The hotel was cute, and the decor gave the rooms a cool boutique hotel vibe. The hotel and restaurant staff were outstanding! They were always friendly and accommodating. There were a few minor issues with the the room/amenities that we didn't think were worth addressing given our short stay; plus, they didn't substantively detract from the overall excellent experience. This place is ideal if you want an updated, clean, nicely-sized room, with a cool vibe outside of central London. Definitely take advantage of the delicious breakfast or enjoy a pint with your fish and chips at the Spread Eagle Pub next door.
Great newly updated hotel and pub. Only issue is that that it is further away from London attractions than we thought.
Clean hotel with nice interior, friendly staff
Very clean, road noise was the only issue for me but you have to expect that due to its location.
Absolutely lovely room with amazing bath and massive bed! The staff were lovely and the pub was a great atmosphere.
The hotel is a quaint step back in time with beautifully decorated rooms, immaculately clean and very comfortable accomodation.
Surprisingly quiet, given that the hotel is above a bar/restaurant. The hotel has a distinctively separate feel, making it both secure, comfortable and convenient.
Attempted dinner in the restaurant but despite the server’s best attempts, all options selected on the menu were unavailable and drinks were forgotten. Ordering via the app proved less than satisfactory and resulted in inconvenient refunding etc.
I had a delightful stay at this property.
The hotel has been renovated to a very high standard in a modern Victorian style.
The service was five star and the very manicured rooms were lovely.

lindsay.partnerOct 24, 2022 This was a brilliant looking property - wit the pub attached - we were attending a party near clapham junction - so was very conveniently situated. The rooms were a good size - really nice bathroom. I love the fact that its dog friendly and next time we will come with our dog.
Staff were really friendly - it is worth including the breakfast its in the pub which is beautifully decorated and the breakfasts set up is great.
We found it easy to walk up to the bus stop and catch a bus to Clapham junction and then everything was pretty easy to reach from there.
