Stayed 3 nights. Fast check in. The two men there were lovely. Greeted us each time. It was in a great location. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants. The hotel itself is old but comfy. Room was clean for the most part. Found an old beer can behind the table when looking for a plug. Enjoyed the breakfast. Overall it was a good stay.
andrew.partnerNov 24, 2024 Staff very friendly, room was ok, we had a colony of ladybirds living on the window frame that my other half insisted I remove. Bed was a little uncomfortable as the mattress dipped a lot, but all clean.

Stayed for 5 nights visiting family. All staff very friendly and helpful. Didn’t have breakfast as stayed by myself but it did smell nice! Room nice and clean. Hotel had good WiFi signal. Teas/coffees refreshed in room. Thank you, Lucy

The owner justin was so friendly and welcoming, he felt like a friend by the time i left , i even got a goodbye hug. I didnt have any problems , room was clean and comftable and i had a sea view room which made for a relaxing break for me.i have no problem recommending Gable End Hotel to anyone

Was welcomed by what can only be described as a drunk man. Rushed through few general bits, given a key showed to my room. My sea view was a wreck of a back yard. The ceiling was damp stained and cracking,, thick dust on everything, and sockets coming off the walls. Shame I can't add photos to show.

julie.family_with_childrenSep 01, 2024 My children and I spent one night in the Gable End Hotel. It’s a lovely and cosy place, in a good way. The manager/ owner was amazing, was polite, very cheerful and even shook hands with my older two children and high fived my little boy. That made them feel welcome to. Great first impression. Our room was in the attic, a great two bedroom room with a tv in the main bedroom. The bathroom was good with an old shower but the water pressure was brilliant and lovely and hot. Could do with some hooks and a little shelf in there for us ladies but the new owners are renovating so I’m sure that will happen. Breakfast was preordered the night before with a time of our choosing. Very nice hot food, and a pot of tea. Overall I would definitely stay again. A lovely experience, thank you so much Justin and team.
It’s nicely positioned just out of the hustle of Great Yarmouth with the beach just across the road. The road isn’t too bad at night and there is plenty of parking, which is great. Aside from someone talking loudly outside on their phone in the evening, it was okay. It is dated and needs some TLC, but friendly staff and clean enough. I’ve stayed in much worse - hence my rating
Location was perfect for what we needed, parking wasn't great as you could easily get blocked in so best to park on street
Check out on website incorrect as was shepherded out 30 mins early. Toilet dripping all night, on inspection there was a pair of shorts stuffed in cist. Paper thin walls, could hear neighbour snoring all night. Breakfast was ok.
